Emma's POV
I don't know what got into me. I was experimenting multiple unexplainable emotions that caused my body to froze utterly. I awkwardly stood in The Jolly Roger's doorway, looking at Killian and the woman who was with him. However, they hadn't seen me, they were too busy chatting about something I wasn't able to listen.

The dark haired woman moved her hands and arms from one side to another. Doing that made her look like a crazy octopus.
Killian then handed her what seemed to be a small card, which she quickly kept inside her ugly green purse.
Then, she took out her phone and wrote down something Killian dictated her.

I'm sure he has just given her his phone number. Or address even.

Smee walked next to them all of a sudden, Killian told something to the manager and the woman argued another inaudible thing. For what I understood, Killian didn't let her pay whatever she had consumed.

They both stood up as Smee made his way back to the kitchen. They exchanged some words before the short sized woman hugged him. Then they said goodbye as she kissed his left cheek.

Ugh.

I soon realized that she was heading towards my direction and I was standing there like a complete stalker. Thankfully I was quick enough to take out my phone and pretend to be texting. But let's say I couldn't avoid lifting up my gaze and scan the woman upside down.

She had her hair lose, completely straightened. She was wearing a pink blouse and a brown skirt, black high heels and that ugly purse that didn't match her clothes.

The dark haired lady seemed not to notice me as she made her way to the parking lot, where she turned on the beautiful Mercedes-Benz before leaving the dock.

So now what? I just go and see Killian and pretend nothing happened? Or should I ask him who was the mysterious girl with whom he was having a drink?

I had no fucking idea.

The first thing that came to my mind was the word cheat. Maybe Killian didn't want to be with me anymore and was cheating on me with that girl.

No.

He's not that type of guy. He wouldn't do that.

Would he?

Perhaps she's just a friend.

Or not.

Oh God. Many questions and zero answers. My head was aching hardly.

Okay Emma. Just... Make your way in and... Wait until he tells you about her. If he doesn't... It means he's up to something.

I walked inside casually as Smee welcomed me.

"Miss Swan. Good to see you around here. Mr. Jones is in his office"

"Thanks, William"

I made my way to it and opened the door. As soon as Killian saw me he drew a beam across his face, obviously surprised about my presence.

"Swan, I had no idea you were coming"

"Yeah, let's say I wanted to surprise you. Am I arriving at a bad time?"

"Uhm... No"

"That didn't sound so convincing"

"It's just that the magazine's people are coming in half an hour and I have to prepare everything"

"And why didn't you prepare everything earlier?"

"I had some business to attend"

Her.
