My First

Chapter 6: Everyone Knows!

Today was Friday. I'm usually excited to be in school Friday's because
1-It was half day.
2- I was going for a date with my boyfriend!

I was more bubbly than usual. I just wanted everyone to know how happy I was. But I knew I couldn't. People at school make it a thrive to ruin other people's lives. If any of the gossip girls find out I'm with Seth, my happiness will be taken away from me. So, I needed to make him understand how messed up this school, or these people are.

"Hey beautiful" he leaned in and kissed me.

The inner girly side of me is screaming! I suddenly feel butterflies, noticing how soft his lips were, how hungry he was for me. He kissed me like he had been longing for this moment and I only had energy to welcome his kiss.

From that moment, I knew eyes were on us and my little secret about my boyfriend and I was known instantly. But I didn't care because he was with me, he likes me. Not anyone else. I was content with that.

Finally, we let go of each other. He held my hand and we walked together for history class.

During class, I was totally zoned out. Mainly because I was thinking about what I'll wear later on for my date. Maybe a dress? Eeew! I hate dresses! I'll wear jeans and borrow a top from mom. Yeah. That cute white one she recently bought. Deal Madd, that's the one! Really? What the hell am I doing having a conversation with myself! That's crazy!

"Maddy?" Seth calls and I snap out of my thoughts.

"Hmm?" I look at him. He sighs then smiles at me

"Did you hear anything I said babe?" He looks at me curiously but he still manages to be cute.

"I'm sorry." I blush " I was just thinking-" and he cuts me off

"Thinking about our date?" He laughs low "Me too. I want it to be perfect."

We both laugh because we realized how dramatic we are. Seth was so cute. I could somehow connect with him, the young Seth.

After school, Seth offered to take me home and told me he'd be back after 30 minutes because he knew I'm not the type of girl who takes forever to get dressed. Luckily, I already knew what I was going to wear.

It was exactly 30 minutes when Seth was outside my house and my mom was home. I told her I'm going out with a friend. I wasn't ready to tell her about Seth because
1-Seth's mom and my mom were close friends and
2- Shed dramatize the whole thing.
So I knew I'd wait to tell her.

Satisfied with how I looked, I took a deep breath and walked out the house.

"Hey beautiful." He calls me beautiful as if it's my name. I blush as I enter his grey Jeep Wrangler.

I lean in and kissed him briefly. "Hey boyfriend " I greet back and we drove away.

"So where are you taking me?" I ask loud because we were listing to 'Rocket' full blast on speakers. The song really gets to me, in a good way though?

He lowers the volume "Just hold on tight beautiful, we'll be there soon." He said.

"You know, it's like you're planning on raping me or something. You could just tell me about that." I say jokingly

He smiles and firmly grips on the steering wheel then clenches his jaw. "Maybe you're the one who wants to rape me, or see me naked." He smirks and stops the car.
"We're here!" He says. I look around and the view is breathtaking

We're surrounded by nature and beautiful flowers. Right ahead of us was a waterfall. I fell in love with the moment. As I was standing, admiring the view, Seth hugs me from behind and kisses my neck and whispered "I hope you like it".

I remembered that moment why I was falling for Seth. His simplicity was beyond amazing, he cared and he wasn't about bragging and being an ass, he was well raised and he was a gentleman. I loved him.

We entered an antique restaurant and sat by the window where we can admire the view. A young woman, probably in her early 20's came at our table and took or orders.

"So, tell me why a beautiful girl was single?" He asked randomly

"Well, maybe I was waiting for my Prince Charming." I pause and found him smiling. "But to be honest, guys are fucked up, all they want to do is get into your pants and brag about it. I've been hurt a lot Seth and I'm afraid of getting hurt." I say honestly, this time looking down at my palms.

"Well Maddy, I'm not promising you a fairytale but I do promise to make you happy. And all those bastards that fucked up, they're stupid." He says, trying to lighten the mood.

We spend the time looking at childhood pictures of each other and he sure did make fun of how fat I was as a baby. We even laughed about the time he painted my dress because I had to leave and visit my grandma. Seth sure had this charm about him.

"So tell me babe, are you a virgin?" He asks with his accent

Straight forward I say "Yes I am. What about you?" I ask

"I'm not love. I just want to know what my limits with you." He said as he took a sip of his Coke.

"Well babe," I sip my Coke "I wouldn't mind you breaking me." He turns red and we laugh.
