I had no plans on having any randez-vous with Penelope, Naomi or Brad. Whatever they do, I won't bother myself with it. I had absolutely no worries about them. They're not important and don't benefit me in anyway.
I decided to call Tammy and Tia, so we plan for the Winter Ball before we left for winter break. My best friend already had a car but she wasn't in the mood to drive so I offered to drive. It was sad, I knew how to drive, I had a driver's license but no car! It's sad.
Tammy came over after fifteen minutes and Tiara called shotgun.
"So you're going with Seth?" Tammy asked, excited as ever.
"Yes I am bestie, what about you?" Who's your date?" I ask
"My damn self!" She snaps her fingers in a Z form. "Jokes boo, I haven't answered anyone yet." She flipped her hair.
"Well you're one lucky one!" I say. "What about Tia? Going with Justin?" I ask
"I mean, of course! We've been together for almost a year now and all these high school couples thing is really cute and something we both like." Tai says as she turns red.
"You really like him don't you?" I turn to look at her for a second.
"Yeah," she smiles, "I do." She looks down.
"Well my second sister, I'm happy if you're happy." I say to her.
"Maddy where exactly are we going?" Tammy asks at the back.
"We're going to Beverly Centre. I think that's where we can get the prettiest dresses. And plus, I want to cut my hair." I say.
"You what!?" They both shout at me
"Wow! Twin moment!" I try to bury the thought they have of me cutting my hair. "Relax, not all of it. I want it to be shoulder length. Change is good." I say, parking the car underground.
"Ohh! That's better, but don't do it now. Surprise everyone at the ball." Tammy winks at me freakishly.
I laugh at her facial expression. "Okay babe. I'll do that. Now come on, let's go get dresses!" I say, feeling so determined and powerful.
"Okay, we have to go to Chanel, Michael Kors, Chloé and Macy's. If we don't get anything we need, we drive to Calabasas for Dash Kollection clothes " I say to the girls.
I had a really great idea for my Winter's Ball dress. I wanted to go 50s or 60s. Shoulder straps, slightly below the knee length, white heels and a white belt chocker. My dress color? I was thinking white, since it's winter and the snow is white. My lips? I'll get purple lipstick, my nails, they'll be purple. Since it'll be cold, I'll have to buy a plain white fur crop coat to finish off my look. I just had to inform my date.
Tammy decided she'd buy a nude Dash stiletto. She bought a long blood red body hugging dress with a slit on the left thigh. She added a beautiful crystal that was a choker but not on the neck, it just stylishly cupped her neck. She couldn't have looked more beautiful. I was a proud best friend. She wanted to get stiletto nails too, she said the color would be a surprise. Typical Tammy.
Tiara wasn't really the dress fanatic. She wanted a jumpsuit or a sexy feminine CEO suit. Could we even find that? She wanted her pants tight, showing her beautiful assets, her ass and curves, bareback cut to it and red MK strap heels. Her outfit was slightly nude and where the back is revealed, shades of red were revealed. She planned on having red to maroon nails.
I was really proud of ourselves. I couldn't wait for the ball. When I got home, I called Seth, letting him know about my dress.

Seth loved my white goddess idea. He just opted for a simple navy tuxedo. I I could picture him looking so handsome already. I hadn't told anyone apart from Tammy and Tia about my hair cut, I was planning on cutting my hair the day before the ball.
It had only been three days and Tyler hadn't spoken to me. I felt bad because I felt like I've lost him as a friend.
"Hi beautiful, can we talk?" Seth asks, looking gloomy.
"Yeah. What's wrong?" I ask
"Uhm, I've heard some things, I'd like to know if it's true or not." He paused. "Brad told me that Tyler likes you, is it true? And did you know?" He looked at me.
"Yes he does like me and I knew about it." I was really pissed off because Brad kept on putting his itchy nose in my business! Couldn't he focus on himself? I had had it with him.
"Oh. Okay. And do you like him?" He gives me a weird look.
"No I don't Seth. He's only a friend, more like a brother." I tell him that because it was the truth. I don't mean to be bad, I liked Tyler but I loved Seth. Seth was my first love. I have never felt so close and attached to anyone else like I was with him. I know it's girly, but I felt safe around me because he knew how to treat me, how to make me laugh and he listens to my problems. To me, he was perfect.
"Okay." He forced a smile but pulled me close and kissed my forehead and said, "I trust you."
He walked me to my next class, I really wanted to stay with him for a while to make extra sure that he was really alright.
I spent my entire Business Studies lesson clueless of what was going on and worried about Seth. I was over attached to him and it wasn't right because I knew that I'd eventually get hurt. However, because I am a teenager, I'm obviously stubborn and I'll obviously learn the hard way.

It was finally the Friday before the Winter Ball. I was beyond excited! For the weekend, Tammy and Tiara were going to visit. The weekend couldn't be more perfect!
School ended earlier for the seniors and juniors because we had to organize the theme for the ball. My school was number one in making last minute arrangements. My twin sisters and I made sure to hide so no teacher calls us out for help and most importantly, to get Tammy away from volunteering. Tia and I were ready to ditch school the second it was 11 a.m. We just happened to be delayed by Tammy.
We looked almost everywhere for her and only noticed her with a guy, a guy I knew very well, my cousin Andrew. Tia and I didn't have time to scold Tammy then, we just decided to do it later at my house.
We arrived at the salon and did all we had to do. I got my hair cut and we all got our nails done. We felt like princess but we didn't want to be seen by any creature from school. I had a great feeling about this ball.
