Everything between Seth and I was great. I loved him more than I thought I would. We grew closer to each other and we were both so happy. Of course, like every other couple, we had several arguments but we managed to get over them.

It had been 3 months since we'd been together. It was time for our December break and dad made plans for the family. Normally, mom pick a state to visit for December and I'd pick anywhere in the world to visit. So mom chose Seattle because she was obsessing over Fifty Shades trilogy.

It was only 2 weeks left until we closed for winter break and just 1 week for our Winter Ball.

It was only Wednesday night when my phone buzzed, it was a message from Seth.

Cupcake
Hey Maddy, we need to talk.

Me:
Hey Cupcake. What's up?

Cupcake:
I think we should break up.
You deserve better than me.

Me:
Oh. Okay. I don't understand though.
Did I do anything wrong?

Cupcake:
No, you didn't. I just think we should break up.
I'm sorry. Good night.

I didn't reply. I felt like crying, but I didn't. I couldn't. A part of me was broken because of the bond we'd built. I should've known better. All he wanted was to sleep with me and leave me.

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" I yelled at myself, hitting my head with my hand.

It was only 9:15. I left my phone in my room and went downstairs to eat and watch tv. Totally ready to stuff my body with junk. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door and I opened the door. It was Tammy.

"Hey! I brought Tacos!" She said waving her hand with the Taco bag in her hand.

"I love you!" I hugged her, trying not to cry.

"I know! Hey! Is it okay if I sleep over till Friday? My parents are going to China." She said as she welcomed herself.

"You know I could say no and you'd have to leave right?" I fold my arms. "But you know you're always welcome here." I then shut the door.

I didn't want to tell Tammy about the break up as yet, but I would eventually.

"Bestie we have to go to bed otherwise we sleep in biology class." I say as I take the Taco packs to the kitchen.

"You're such a perfectionist. But okay." We tidied the lounge and went to bed.

"Okay then. I'm a lot tired, so I'll just black out any time soon. Love you!" And I kissed her cheek.

"You're usually more fun babe. Is something wrong? Did Seth do something? Ohhh! That pig will pay!" She says, holding her hand up in a fist form.

"No, no. It's not Seth. I'm just tired." I reply.

"Oh. Okay. I'll find out you know." She kissed my cheek. "Good night bestie."
