My First

Chapter 8: Bonding

Unfortunately, the first part is totally boring! But I hope you like it

Sunday morning I woke up feeling well rested and excited for the road trip. I took a quick shower and realized that I had absolutely no idea what I was going to wear. So I typically googled outfits to wear for a road trip. That was stupid but it helped.

So I decided to wear black denim shorts and a white loose top with my white all stars as a bonus. It looked too simple and cliché but it looked pretty good. I tied my hair in a high bun and put on red lipstick on my full lips. I made sure I carried a bag with all the things I'll need for this road trip, like sunscreen, a bikini, sandals and a towel.

When I got out of my room, I rushed downstairs and saw my dad comfortably sleeping while the tv was on. I kissed him on the cheek and put a blanket over him. Mom was probably fast asleep so I didn't want to wake her up. It was around 6:50 when Seth's jeep was outside and everyone was inside.

"Hey beautiful." He kissed my cheek, "You ready to go?"

"Hi. I'm excited!" I say shyly. "Hey aunt Grace" and I smiled at Khalisi.

We drove off with the music loud but ten minutes later we stopped at the gas station. Aunt Grace and Khalisi swapped seats with Seth and I were now at the back. It was about a 30 drive till I noticed where were, Pacific Park. I was so excited.

We stepped out of the car, and Grace and Khalisi said they'd go to the spa.

"You two call us when you're done okay?" Aunt Grace said

"You kids behave now, okay?" Khalisi says and winks, we all laugh and walk away. Seth took the car keys because he knew I had my bikini there. We entered the huge gate of Pacific Park and Seth grabbed my hand and we walked into our fantasy.

"So what first my lady?" He asked.

"First, we get cotton candy." I grin with thrill as if I'm some toddler.

And so we went to get cotton candy. We played so many games together, he won me a cute brown teddy bear hugging a heart. We stopped at a food truck and got burgers with fries. I was so hungry and happy to finally eat.

It was around 2:30 when Seth suggest we go to the beach. We walked back to the car and grabbed everything we needed for the beach. After closing all doors, Seth holds my waist and kisses me.

"I've been waiting for this moment ever since I saw you today." He said after the intense kiss.

I smiled and said "Well you can do that all the time babe" and I kissed him back.

"Smile." He whispered and flashes his phone and took several pictures of us and our poses changed frequently.

We walked to the beach, pitched the umbrella and laid picnic mats on the sand and enjoyed the sun, luckily, we had already applied sunscreen. We chatted about childhood and our dreams, plans after high school and family.

After a few hours later Khalisi called and asked us to meet them at the car so we leave before it gets dark and we all had school tomorrow.

My date went really well with Seth and I appreciated the Matthews or taking me out.

I got a text from Seth later on, saying he had fun and he got me something but he'll give it to me this week. I was so happy.

Monday. My other nemesis. I hated Monday's. They were too long for no reason. For absolutely no good reason, I was grumpy today. I walked to Tammy, who's was with her twin sister Tiara Knight.
