My date with Seth went well, no, it was beyond amazing. We took so many selfies together, from when we finished our meal, outside the restaurant by the waterfall and in his car. He was so romantic and too good to me. I was grateful for my little fairytale with him.

I checked my phone to find missed calls and messages from Tammy

Babe!!!!! I can't wait to hear about your date with Charming. Call me when you get home.

And I immediately did that.

"Sooo? How did it go?" She asked as soon as she answered.

I laughed "Gees Tammy! I'm good too!" I threw myself on my bed and let out a deep sigh. "It was perfect" I say with a smile on my face

"That's good! I'm coming to your house tomorrow. Zack's having a party." She said excited. Zack was Tammy's boyfriend. Their relationship was complicated, they break up and make up. I couldn't keep up.

"Cool. I'll see you then. I'll tell mom too." And we hang up.

It was around 02:15 when my phone rang hysterically loud causing me to wake up but as I checked the caller ID, it was Seth and I answered.

"Hey. Are you okay? It's like 2 a.m." I say sitting up.

"I can't sleep. I'm sorry to wake you up. I just- "

I cut him short "It's okay Seth. I'm here. What's wrong?"

"I'll tell you about it tomorrow. And by the way, my car's in the garage. I'll come to school with mom, she wants to see you." He said "And thank you for today babe" he continued

"That's okay. Well, technically, it should be me thanking you." I say.

We spent an hour talking about his dogs, our childhood and horoscopes.

After our phone call, his sister texted me. I was surprised she had my number.

Hey Maddy! I need your help with planning Seth's birthday party. Has to be a surprise okay? -Khalisi.

I totally forgot that Seth's birthday is on the 20th of September. Luckily, I knew what I had to do to make his day amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't get along with Seth's 'new bestie' Brad Martins. He was the ultimate package of 'bad boy', in fact, he was the perfect definition of a man-whore.

Brad wasn't attractive at all, he just wore like he was the shit. Girls liked him because of his tattoos and piercings but I just couldn't find the decency in him. All he would do is brag about how many girls he's slept with, how he made them scream, how many times he'd make them come and how long he'd last. Academically, Brad was an airhead. He'd rather spend most of his time rolling joints and driving around. He didn't do sports either and outside school, he was extra trouble with the college guys.

Shoot me, but I thought Seth and Brad shouldn't be friends because he'd change him. So yes, I was a little concerned about their friendship. But as yet, there was nothing I could do because Seth and I had only been dating for three weeks and I didn't want to seem controlling.

I managed to text Khalisi back after I had zoned out.

Hey K! It's been long. We'll meet up Tuesday to plan this party!
