I pounded on the door of this sick mans house waiting to arrest him, "FBI!" I yelled. No answer. I looked over at Andrew who was already looking at me. He nodded at me and I stood in front of the door positioning my self to kick the door open.

"FBI," My boss yelled. I went off into another part of the house. Once I reached my kitchen I yelled clear then made my way to the basement door. The other members of the team and police force made their way over to the door.

I slowly opened the door and made my way carefully down the stairs, "Daniel Neal, hands where I can see them," I demanded. Instead of doing as told, he pulled out a gun.

"Put the weapon down. Now," Blake, another partner of mine said, "Slowly put the weapon down," he demanded again. Again instead of being told her then pointed the gun at the crying girls head. He pulled the hammer of the gun back ready to fire.

He looked back and smiled. Before I even let him kill another innocent girl I aimed at his head and shot. Putting my gun away and then going over to the guy who was now dead. Blake and Andrew went over to the girl while I check for a pulse. None.

I then walked over to the girl, slide off my jacket, and wrapped it around her, "We need a medic. Now," I said. I looked over to the girl who was weeping in my lap. I rubbed her back, "shhh everything is going to be okay. You're going home, baby girl."

The medic came down into the basement and took the girl into care. I stood up and walked up stairs to the kitchen meeting with the rest of the team, "You did good kid," My boss said as he patted my back.

I've been an FBI agent for three months and I just killed my first criminal. I wasn't proud to say that I had shot and killed the man but I'm proud to say that I saved that girls life. I sighed and looked at him. I lightly punched his arm, "thanks," I smiled.

"Well, we're flying out tomorrow. Go spend time with your dad and brother. You need it," Andrew said as we all walked to the car. I nodded and looked down.

"Agent!" I heard a medic yell. I stopped and turned around. "Here is your jacket," She smiled. I grabbed the jacket from her and returned the smile.

"Thank you," I said while walking away to the car. I shot someone. No, I don't feel good but I saved her life, Yes, I feel great about that.

"Hey, are you free tonight?" I said as Nate finished telling me a story. He laughed which made my heart a skip beat. I felt like my teenage self around him.

I felt free

"I am," He said. I could hear his smile and his smirk.

"Can I come stay with you?" I asked.

It's funny because four years have passed and I would offer my self to Nate but I wouldn't offer my self to any guy who I knew would just be a one night stand. But that's not why I wanted to stay with Nate tonight.

I wanted to stay with Nate because it has been four years since I've seen him, four years since I felt what his arms wrapped around me. I missed that more then anything.

"Well, what time do you have to be at the airport tomorrow?" He asked.

"I'm pretty sure I have to be at the airport at 1:30,"

"Alright well get your things around and text me what hotel you're at. I'll be there soon."

"Okay will do."

"Bye Vannah."

"Bye Nathan."

As I stepped foot into Nathan's house I felt like I was gonna puke. All these horrible and amazing memories came flooding back. The laughs we had, the horrible fights, and the days where I thought the fights would get physical.

I slid my jacket off and laid it over one of the dinning room chairs. I found my self wandering around the house. It was still the same as it was the day I left his house after I gave him the letter.

Everything was in tack. Not a thing was out of its place. But that was normal for Nate. The only thing different now from before was the pictures. The ones of us weren't up anymore. Only family pictures.

I turned to look at Nate but he wasn't behind me like I expected. I walked back to the kitchen area to see Nate leaning against he counter with a beer in his hand and his phone pressed against his ear.

He looked up at me and offered me his beer. "No thanks," I laughed and he smiled.

"Alright well I'll see you Thursday, then," He said then hung up his phone, "My manager," He chuckled then pulled me into his chest.

"I'm proud of you Nate," I said and he smiled. I returned the smile, "You have no clue."

"I'm pretty sure I have a clue," he laughed, "when you always talked about being in the FBI, I didn't think you were serious. But I mean look at you. You found the guy who killed Sam's cousin," He said.

"Yeah, I killed the man," I sighed while looking down, "but I guess I did what I had to do. I mean for gods sake, he was holding a gun to the poor girls head," I said while looking at him.

He frowned at my words. I leaned against his chest and sighed, "I've been working for the BAU for almost four months and I'm still having nightmares every night."

"Well tonight, I'm with you and if you wake up at 3:30 am, I'll wake up and sit with you until you fall back asleep," He said which caused me to smile.

"Wanna order some take out?" I asked. He nodded and picked up the phone calling the Chinese place and placing an order.

"It'll be here in 25 minutes." He smiled. I nodded.

"I'll pay," I said while he nodded. Normally he would have objected to me paying for dinner. It was actually really nice not having to argue about who was paying for dinner.
