I was fuckin' with me before anyone started fucking with.
-
Sam hadn't even seen my face or neck before he took me into his arms and rocked me back and fourth. It was pretty obvious that the blonde girl had told Sammy  that I was here and I was pretty beaten up.

A few others trailed in but lastly was my brother and his eyes widened at the site of my bruises. He had almost dropped to his knees. I let go of Sam and I walked over to my brother and Jack, but Sam followed close behind me.

"I should have called you the first time it had happened but I didn't and I'm so sorry, Jack," I said with tears running down my face. He had looked even more taken back after I had said that.

"The first time?" Johnson asked.

"How long has this been going on," Jack asked.

"I swear I'm  gonna kill him," Sam said.

I sighed and shook my head, "It has only happened twice now and no Sammy, you aren't gonna kill him. I just need to stay here for a few days, but I need to go get my cloths," I stated in a calm manor.

"No Savannah, this isn't just the second time," Sam said with a tone, "if you don't recall before we graduated and before he decided to run off he grabbed you up and left marks then too."

"He didn't hit me Sammy." I said looking around. All eyes were on me and it wasn't to pleasing. Sam laughed but I didn't find anything funny.

"Do not stand up for him Savannah." My brother said.

"I'm not standing up for him. I'm just saying I think that I would know how many times Nathan has left marks on me." I snorted.

"He has harmed you more than two times is all he is trying to say, Vannah." Johnson finally spoke up.

"He's done this more than twice." Sam said.

"If you're gonna stand up for him get out," my brother yelled. I flinched at his actions and grabbed my coat putting it back on and zipping it up.

"I don't know why I came here," I whispered but just loud enough for them all to hear. I grabbed my phone and started walking towards the door. Before I put my shoes back on I turned to look at the three boys, "I guess Nate and Kenny weren't the only ones to leave marks on me, huh Sammy."

"What are you talking about?" He asked while walking up to me. I slipped on my boots and stepped closer to him so I was face to face with him.

"Remember that black eye you gave to me when Nate was dating Olivia?"

---
I walked into my house and I closed my eyes at the memory of me being slammed into cupboards, the counter, and thrown into the wall.

I could hear Nate in the back of the house cursing to him self or maybe Tristan. It was six in the morning so maybe Tristan wasn't awake yet. I hopped not, because I knew that Nate would hear me in the house and we would start yelling at each other.

This was never ending.

Once I reached the top of the stairs, I turned to the left and walked down the hall to Tristan's room. I could hear his tv from the outside of his door. I cracked the door just enough to see if he was sleeping. He was.

I fully opened the door and turned the tv off since he was asleep and he wasn't watching it anyways.

When I closed the door I turned around the be face to face with Nathan.

"Where the hell have you been?" he asked. He looked at my face then pushed my hood off of my head.

I flinched at his touch and he didn't even seem to notice, but it was okay. He looked at my neck and his facial expression stayed the same.

Sorta like he didn't care.

"Obviously I stayed some where else," I pushed past him, "don't worry, I'm just here to get my cloths, make up, and tooth brush. Then you won't see me again until I need something," I said finally making my way to the two steps that lead to my bedroom.

He followed me into the bed room and watched as I grabbed my black traveling bag and put everything that I could fit into it.

When I was done, I threw it over my shoulder and turned to see that Nate was still standing in the door way.

"Savannah, we really need to talk." Nate said as I grabbed my gun hoister, gun, and badge. I clipped the gun to my side and slipped my badge into my coat pocket.

"About what, Nate?" I questioned at I pushed past him again and made my way down to the kitchen.

"Everything," he sighed. I grabbed my second gun and tucked it into my waist band on my jeans.

"You know what, Nate," I said while putting my hands on the counter, "there's nothing left to talk about. I have nothing left to say to you. I have absolutely no fight left in me anymore Nate."

I grabbed a granola bar and a Gatorade. I turned to look at him and saw he had tear coming out of his eyes.

"I love you, I do, but this," I stopped and pointed at all the marks that were left on my face and neck, "will never stop."

I walked to the living room making my way to the front door, but I stopped at looked at him. his eyes were ever more red and I couldn't help but sigh.

"I have an ultra sound appointment for the baby at three today. You're more than welcome to come," I pushed a smile.

But part of me hoped that he wouldn't show up to this appointment his after noon because the doctor would know what happened and I would have to make up yet another lie.

I love Nate, but maybe I love him to much.
