happily ever after never existed until I found you.

I rolled over into Nate's chest scooting my self closer to him. Slowly his hand slipped around my waist pulling me closer but laying lightly on my back so he didn't put pressure on any bruises.

I rested my head on his shoulder and my hand on his chest. His ringing phone brought me fully out of my sleep.

Nate carefully sat up and answered his phone, "hey mom," he said. His facial expression immediately changed when his mom started speaking.

"Whoa, mom calm down and tell me what's going on," he said trying to calm his mom down.

He looked over at me and I sat up, "I'm gonna go call my work," I said while grabbing my phone and walking into the hall way.

"Hotchner," Hotch said while answering the phone.

"Hey Hotch, I know that I should be coming back to the office Monday but Nate is having some family emergency so we have to head back to Omaha for a few days," I explained to Hotch.

"That's okay," he said, "just come back when you're finally able to be in the field," he said.

"Okay," I said while hanging up the phone and walking into the bed room where I saw Nate crying.

"Baby," I said while putting my arms around Nate, "you pack our cloths and I'll call the airport and get some tickets for the next flight out," I said and he nodded.

He stood up and I pulled him into my arms. We stood there for a few minutes before he pulled away, "I love you," he said while kissing my head.

I smiled and pulled away so I could go call the airport. With in a few minutes I had gotten two planes tickets back to Omaha and our flight was at two o'clock this after noon.

"Our flights at two so we have just enough to get showers and some food since we haven't eaten breakfast yet," I said while wrapping my arms around Nate.

He nodded and turned to face me, "my dad isn't gonna make it," he said.

I sighed and hugged him tighter, "let's just go take a shower," I said and he nodded.

"Hey, mom," Nate said while pulling his mom into a tight, loving hug.

Stew looked up when he heard Nate's voice. His eyes were so blood shot, it was unbearable to see.

I walked over to him so Nate could talk to his mom privately. I took a seat next to him and he laid his phone down, "hey kiddo," I said while pulling him into a side hug.

"Savannah, I don't know what happened. I just walked into my parents room and my dad was laying there," he sobbed out taking me into a full on hug.

Stew was eighteen now and in the ten years I have know him, I don't think I've ever seen him cry. Seeing the site of him crying broke my heart, "wanna walk," he nodded and we disappeared into the hall.

"Stew," I said causing him to finally look up at me, "this was not your fault," I said earning a sigh from him. He looked at me the back down at his hands. I could see more tears falling from his eyes on to his hands.

He wiped his hands on his jeans, "I know that this isn't my fault but that's  not whats upsetting me," He sighed stretching out. I stood up and looked at him telling him to keep going, "dad and I got in a big fight last night and by big I mean like bigger then Justin Bieber's career."

I rose my eye brow at his comparison and he smiled, "okay, it wasn't that big but you get my point though?" He asked and I nodded my head and looked down.

"Look, I am not a consular. I'm an FBI agent so I can't tell you what you should do but I know you and your family. I know how you guys are to each other. Hell, I saw you and Nathan literally fight because of something dumb you did but not even two minutes later, y'all were okay," I sighed while grabbing his arm, "I don't know what happened but he knows that you still love and care for him."

He half smiled and said, "I know that but it's just if  my dad passes my last words to him were that I hate him and I don't."

I raised my eye brown and sighed, "he knows you don't hate him, Stew. He knows that you love him and I'm sure he knows that you were in the moment," I said.

He nodded them looked at my face and arms, "so, what happened to you?" he questioned.

I laughed a little and shrugged my shoulders, "I got beat up," I said again, laughing. He laughed along.

"By who?" he asked.

"I honestly don't remember. It was one of those work fights," I said and he gave me a confused look, "like I got kidnapped for three weeks an-" I started but he cut me off.

"Oh, yeah! My brother told me about that," he said with a frown, "I thought you were gone forever," he sighed.

I didn't know whether I should tell him about Nate cheating on me or not. I didn't want him and his brother fighting and I didn't want Nate to be pissed at me.

"Yeah," I smiled, "but I not gone. I'm here and I'm okay," I said while pushing his shoulder making him smile.

"good," he said while pulling me into a hug, "how are you for real though? After you got taken, Nate flew in and was here for a week," Stew asked.

I sighed, "I'll be okay. I'm hurt because of more then just these," I paused pointing at my arms, "but I'll be okay."

Stew looked at me funny then over at Nate. It's like he knew exactly what I was trying to say but kept his mouth shut instead of saying something just to piss Nate off, "can you take me to get some food? I've been here for a while and haven't eaten yet," he said.

I nodded my head. He left to grab his hoodie from the waiting room and I walked over to Nate, "hey, I'm gonna take your brother to get some food. Want anything?" I asked.

He shook his head as his eyes filled up with tears again, "I can't eat but here's my credit card, get you something to eat," he said while kissing my head and handing me the car keys.

"I love you," I smiled.

"love you too," he sighed.
