I marched straight up to Rock and tapped him on the shoulder. As he turned around I punched him right in the nose.

He staggered back, blood began to drip from his nose. "What the hell was that for?" he yelled angrily clutching his nose in pain.

"How DARE you put me with the new kid! You know I hate him and all of the sudden you're making him my boyfriend! What's up with that?" I asked stepping close to him and gabbing him in the chest with my finger.

My chest heaved up and down, I was breathless from yelling. Rock wiped the blood from his nose. We stared at each other for awhile standing practically nose to nose.

Then out of practically no where Rock pulled me into his arms and kissed me. When he released me I was breathless I stared at him wide eyed.

"He is NOT your real boyfriend." he said sharply then turned and walked away, leaving me staring after him like an idiot.

I walked back to where Pea was cutting Drew's hair in a daze. "Oooh! Your blushing!!!! What happened to you over there?" Pea asked jumping up and down.

"I saw the whole thing, Rock kissed her after she gave him a bloody nose! Ouch! Stop jumping you're going to cut my ear off!" Drew cried.

Pea moved the scissors away from Drew's head as she jumped and squealed in excitement. "I was getting so impatient waiting for Rock to finally make his move, he's had a crush on you for a long time."

I stared at them both, confused. "He has? Why the hell didn't you tell me about this?" I yelled a Pea shocked out of my mind.

"It never seemed very important to me." Pea shrugged going back to cutting Drew's hair.

"Never seemed important! Of course it's important!" I cried in frustration.

"Hey Lil' Dragon... guess what? I think Rock has a crush on you!" Pea said sarcastically.

"No, duh! He just kissed her didn't he?" Drew asked.

"Hey idiot, ever heard of something called sarcasm?" I asked.

"WILL YOU BOTH JUST PUT A SOCK IN IT?" Pea yelled causing us both to shrink back. Pea was not a angry person but when she did yell it was terrifying. "I AM ALREADY SICK OF YOU FIGHTING AND I ONLY MET DREW FIVE MINUTES AGO! DRAGON, WHAT DID HE EVER DO TO YOU?" Pea asked shocking me.

“Well, He…. Um…” I struggled to come up with an answer, the boy just annoyed me. But I did have a bit of humanity, I wouldn’t want to say anything like that to someone, it’s too cruel.

“Exactly, so leave him alone!” Pea went back to cutting Drew’s hair.

I started to walk away as I did I heard them talking. “What is her problem? Why does she hate me so much?” Drew asked. I knew he was staring at me.

“She doesn’t trust you. She probably thinks you’re a spy sent by the U.S. Government. Since she doesn’t trust you she hates you even more for having to pair up with you.”

“But that’s not my fault! I didn’t ask to be with her!” I stopped and acted like I was checking over someone’s work still somehow able to hear them.

“Give her at the very least a month and she should start to act kinder towards you. If not you should just leave, because Dragon is unbearable to live with when she hates you. I would tell you to ask the last person but he disappeared and was never heard from again.”

“Did she kill him?” Drew asked. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a fearful expression on his face.

“I actually don’t know. She doesn’t like to talk about it. Other than the fact that he disappeared I don’t know anything else.” Pea bit her lip as though concerned, then smiled. “You’re done! Now head on over to the wardrobe people and they will give you some new clothes to wear.”

I walked away from pretending inspect everyone’s progress, to my things. I sat by them clutching my pillow and thinking.

'Cat, I had called him Kitten. He had reddish-brown hair and brown eyes that if looked at right had a yellow tint to them. I never really hated him. Something had just happened… something very strange. I always thought he was really cute but I would die rather than admit something like that to a guy. He knew I liked him and that I was too scared of what everyone would say, we would go for walks and when we got far enough away we would hold hands and all of that mushy stuff.  The day of the accident we were on a walk, something happened and I yelled at him. Without warning he was on fire, and I couldn’t stop it I tried everything I could think of. He died quickly before my eyes. In the end the fire was extinguished by my tears.’

Tears streamed down my face and onto my pillow. I quickly wiped the tears from my face and tried to rub away the evidence of them ever being on my pillow. I sniffled as I knelt to grab my makeup. I applied my makeup and stared at myself in the mirror. I was blond, with dark eye shadow and eye liner and glossy lips. I didn’t see myself staring back, I saw someone else. That was a good thing, someone else would pretend to date Drew and someone else wouldn’t know who Cat was.

Then a thought struck me. ‘Rock kissed me while I was blond, in other words he kissed me when I was someone else. Does that mean that he doesn’t really like me? No, he kissed me. I doubt that he would do something like that unless he really meant it.’

I shook all of the troubling thoughts out of my head. I had to get into character. I sat there meditating until. “Hey, Dragon, Rock needs you. He said we’re going over the plan.”  I flinched, it was Drew. He was now wearing a leather jacket, a grey University of California shirt and some black cargo pants. Suprisingly, he looked pretty good.

“Alright Drew... I’m coming.” I said through gritted teeth, clambering up to my feet.
