(*Drew's POV*)

It was July 17th and Pea was driving me to an unknown location. "Where did you get this car again?" I asked feeling the leather seats of the baby blue convertible.

"I borrowed it."

"Isn't borrow just another word for steal?"

"It is if the person actually wants this car. This was Lil' Dragon's car and she hated it a lot. She always wanted to paint it red but she never was able to find the right shade or she wouldn't have enough time to work on it... Now shut up so I can drive safely, I don't actually have a driver's license so if we get pulled over then we're out of luck."

"Could you at least tell me where we're going?" I asked getting tired from an hour of driving in the car.

"I've got a friend who I'm going to dump you with until I'm finished doing some things. He owns a dojo so he should be able to help teach you to fight, even though he's never actually taught anyone before."

"Didn't you just say that he owned a dojo? How can he have never taught anyone if he owns a dojo?"

"It's more complicated then that. He has the dojo for his own personal reasons but hopefully he'll teach you something useful. Just wait and he'll explain cause we're here. I have to warn you though, don't mention Lil' Dragon at all that's a good subject to steer clear of."

I nodded then stared at he road around us. We seemed to be in a rain forest on a dirt road which was impossible since we were in Texas. I stared around more confused as we approached a Japanese styled house that looked straight out of Bleach, and even more strangely the property was surrounded by cats.

"Why are there cats everywhere?" I asked staring at the cats.

"Patience, all answers come to those who wait." Pea replied as she climbed out of the car. "Come on."

We walked up to the door and Pea rang the door bell several times. Finally the door opened to revel a boy in his teens who must have been a year older then me or so. He was tall and muscular with coppery hair and slightly tanned skin. He was wearing grey pajama pants, no shirt and was holding an open carton of milk in one hand. He used his other hand to try to block the sun from his eyes.

"Who is it and what do you want?" He grumbled. "This better be good since you just woke me up." He drank a swig right from his milk carton.

"Lynx! Hi it's Pea and..."

"No." he said firmly his eyes apparently adjusting to the light. "I don't care what it is or how much money you'll pay me I don't want anything to do with it."

"Alright Drew have fun with Lynx while I'm away!" Pea ran into the car and began to drive away. Lynx threw his milk carton at the car and it hit it spilling milk all over the car and the road. The cats swarmed to lap up the milk.

"Damn! I forgot to feed the cats, they must be hungry." Lynx stared at me for a few seconds before sighing. "I guess I'm left with no choice kid, come inside."

I entered the dark house behind Lynx cautiously. "So what brings you to South America kid?" he asked as we walked.

I stopped and Lynx walked into the kitchen.. "South America? That's not possible, we were just in Texas!"

"Yeah, Pea probably drugged you. She used to do that to me, it was really annoying. But enough of that, milk?" He asked offering me a carton.

"No thanks." I said slowly.

Lynx shrugged then opened the carton and began to drink from it. "Alright, so. Why did little miss Peacock drop you off here?"

"Wait who?" I asked, a bit confused.
