(*Drew's POV*)

I was awoken form a restless sleep by Pea shaking me awake. "Drew come on, it's time to begin your training!"

I rolled over groggily. "Just let me sleep a few more minutes, my cot's so hard and scratchy I barley got any sleep." I groaned.

"That's because you fell asleep on the floor in the library, you weren't able to find your way out!... Which acrually isn't surprising. The thing that is really irritating me right now is the fact that you just left this stuff lying around." She testily held up the book, ink well and quill I had used to talk to Lil Dragon the night before.

"What's the big deal? People will think it's just a book." I groaned, finally sitting upright and rubbing my eyes.

"The book has a cover encrusted with jewels and gold

! That's an expensive book!" Pea lowered her voice and looked around as though to make sure no one was listening. "Besides, our camp has been infiltrated by someone. I can't be sure who yet, but it's either Dragon or Rock. The one thing I know for sure is that who ever it is knows about magic."

"But didn't you kill Rock last night?" I asked confused and very sleepy.

"No," Pea rolled her eyes "Someone replaced the real Rock with a Banshee, I only killed the banshee."

"Oh, I get it." I said nodding.

"Good now get off of your lazy butt! We're going to go for a nice long run before breakfast!" Pea said brightly pulling me up.

"Hey, it must be really cloudy today cause the sun looks like it's barely out... Wait what time is it?"

Pea smiled cockily. "Five O' clock in the morning. But I wouldn't think about that too much if I were you. After all we're going to be running for three or so hours!"

"Three hours!" I exclaimed, shocking myself out of my tiredness.

"Yep, three hours. So get moving or you're gonna have to skip breakfast!" Pea yelled tucking the book and quill set into a backpack.

I groaned and lay back down which was a mistake because Pea dragged me out of the library giving me a rug burn on my back.

"Now get moving before I go get my stick!" she shouted angrily and giving me a kick for good measure. I was pretty sure I didn't want her to bring out her stick, because for a petite girl Pea was strong.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Sitting next to someone you had seen turn into a Banshee the day before was one of the most awkward thing someone could possibly think of, and yet Pea handled it calmly. As she ate a green pepper and ham omelet she casually talked to Rock as though nothing had happened.

"Where's Lil Dragon? I haven't seen her all day." Rock asked and I squirmed slightly on the bench.

"I don't know, I thought you knew!" Pea said acting surprised. "What about you, Drew?" Pea asked.

I jumped a bit. "I haven't seen her madame!" I said sharply. I was terrified that Pea would kill me if I addressed her non formally, after all she made me run 15 miles before breakfast and I was about ready to collapse from starvation and exhaustion before we got our food. Afterword I was so tiered I didn't care about anything except for not making Pea mad and catching as many short naps as I could before training restarted. She was worse than my instructors.

Pea giggled innocently. "I've been whipping him into shape for missions and  now he's terrified by me... and exhausted."

Rock laughed. "Pea, I don't remember your training sessions being so hard!"
