(*Flame's POV*)
Drew, Pea, my new kitten and I had all traveled back to Earth as soon as we could the next day. I was relieved to be back in camp with all of my old friends.
Rock had forgotten all about what had happened that night in the forest so I made up a lie that I was kidnapped and that Drew and Pea saved me. Which I later realized was actually sort of true.
I hadn't talked to Pea and Drew since we arrived at camp two days prior.
I always saw them during meals, but the rest of the day they couldn't be found.
(*Drew's POV*)
"Drew, I know you have more potential then you let on last time you tried this test. But after this mission I feel it is time for me to tell you that I have known your secret even before you met Flame and entered this camp."
"Yeah... well, I don't believe you." I shrugged.
Pea gaped at me in shock. "Why not?" She demanded, clearly pissed off.
"Well Lynx discovered it within two minutes AND had the guts to confront me about it. You on the other hand claim to have known my secret and yet you didn't confront me on this fact..."
"In other words, you don't trust me?" She cut in; her stare not quite cold, but not the slightest bit warm.
"Yes." I replied bluntly.
A smirk formed upon her lips. "Good."
Her face became hard again. "Now, if you think you're man enough I want you to run this course again... on level 3."
It was my turn to smirk, I looked at the metal room through the glass in which I had failed Level 0 only weeks before. "Piece of cake."
I walked into the room and a course rose from the floor. I laughed scornfully, it was a tightrope, again.
Pea's voice came through the speakers, "Alright, so all you have to do is..."
"I know what to do." I interrupted, stepping onto the starting platform.
The static sound of Pea sighing into the microphone came over the speakers. "Fine... begin."
I leaped onto the wire, ducking to avoid a jet of fire. I did a double handspring; avoiding throwing knifes and a battle axe. I sprinted the rest of the way tilting my head to either side in order to dodge the poison-tipped Shuriken.
The wire began to fall and I leaped onto the platform, nearly loosing my balance. I straightened, prepared for what was comming next.
In a flash I caught the poison tipped dart that I had let hit me the time before.
"Ha! Take that Pea!" I cheered triumphantly.
"THWACK!" I fell off the the platform and onto the floor...
Pea was now standing triumphantly on the platform, a frying pan in her hand. "Don't let you're guard down!" She laughed.
I groaned in defeat.
(*Flame's POV*)
"Hey... Lil' Dragon. We're going to pack up camp and move on to California, are you coming or staying?" Rock asked on my third day of being back.
"As always, I'm coming." I said giving him a weak smile.
"Hey, Rock." Pea called, "You can count Drew and I off of the list of people leaving, we're leaving the gang. Besides the 'Feds' will be coming after Drew soon, considering he's become an ex-agent."
