JAYDEN:

I led Jade home an hour ago and I still can't stop thinking about it.

She fell asleep within a minute.

It was quite amusing seeing her like that but it was also quite concerning.

She just stopped walking and fell on me while we were on our way to the office. Her mouth was hanging open and she was mumbling something incoherent in her sleep so I knew she clearly hadn't fainted. I carried her home; the second time this week.

How can someone have the will to drag themselves to school when they clearly can't cope?

Most people would jump at the opportunity of skipping school.

Her mum is quite funny. She looked shocked seeing me but the second her eyes landed on Jade resignation flashed in her eyes. She just let out a huff and started complaining about how she is too stubborn for her own good.

Her mum clearly didn't want her to go school either.

"Jay!"

I blink dazed,

"What're you thinking man? You've been out of it for a while now." Jonghyun states

"Nothing, what's up?"

"We need to think of a proper excuse to get out of school 'legally.' Isaac said he can't skip today"

"Hmmm."

"Where's Kris?"

"Out waiting, we need to meet her and you know how impatient he gets."

I nod and walk out of the class Jonghyun following suit. The teacher doesn't even bother protesting about us leaving. She already knows there isn't anything she can do nor is it going to make any difference.

"Guys?"

"Nope girls!" Jonghyun replies cheerful as usual.

She laughs delicately as usual "I missed you all."

"Awe you cutie"

She sends me a cute glare annoyed at my comment.

I don't get why girls don't like being labelled as cute? It's a compliment for heaven's sake.

Kris smiles at Hannah giving her a squeeze as she comes forward to give him a hug.

He's never that nice to any girl other than Hannah but I think Jade might become an exception too, even though it is pretty rare to get him to be nice.

Come to think of it Jade and Hannah are quite similar with their personalities. Although I haven't known her long you can just tell she is a little eccentric and really bubbly... very much like Hannah but she's different too.

"Kris." Hannah tone interrupts my reverie. She's being serious about something which is not too common of her unless....

"Hannah." Kris replies just as serious,

They fall into a staring battle which may last a while considering how stubborn they are.

Eventually Kris wins with a triumphant smirk, Hannah groans.

I use the time to take in Hannah's wrist which Kris has clearly held to stop her hiding it. There is a large circular burn surrounded by angry, pink skin.
