@rema_z and ... All you guys... I've been taking so long to update and I'm running out of space for names now 🙈

JADE:

It's been a long day and though I'm exhausted I feel a little lighter on my feet. That was probably because of the fact that I'm not alone. I have the guys to lean on.

Krystal was looking around in awe clearly indicating that it wasn't just my first time in the house.

Hannah came round with Kris too so we spent the afternoon playing silly games like truth or dare.

Thinking back there was something about that house- despite all the odd stuff I was comfortable there. At one point I was looking around trying to identify where all the rooms were but the doors seemed to merge with the walls...

I bet they probably have some revolving door in some bookcase like in all those spy movies.

It took a while tell them everything- from the panic attacks to the car crash. As hard as it was not to- I didn't cry. Regardless of that I still wasn't able to finish telling them. they still haven't let me explain how I was responsible for her death.

-------------

I just finished all of tomorrow's homework so I just sit there flicking through the tv channels - my life saving hot water bottle resting on my stomach.

I probably overdosed on the pain killers but I don't really care right now. So long as those damn cramps stay away.

Seeing as mum is still out- who knows where and dad's trip hasn't ended- seeing as how it happened to be back to back with his previous trip... the house feels empty.

I contemplate calling Krystal but decide to go sit outside for a while. The night air is cool and the stars light up the otherwise black abyss. I shift till I'm lying down on bench, watching the stars. It's funny how I get scared of the dark but without it... I wouldn't be able to see the stars I like so much.

A shuffle nearby has me on alert. Although I wouldn't usually care, no one is home,I'm alone and it's night.

I let out a blood curdling scream as I see a big black silhouette in front of me, the bulky build of the silhouette indicates it's a male. The hoody he's wearing conceals his face. Doing the first thing I think- I throw a stone at him.

Can you believe that even though this guy is right in front of me I miss my target... Rather than having the stone hit his face, as I intended, it bounces of his shoulder.

The guy pulls his hood off, revealing a distraught Cain. His face is blotchy and a little puffy, he looks like he's been crying. It reminds me of that first day when he looked so innocent and weak as Jayden hit him.

"Cain?"

Why is he, of all places... here?

"Can I talk to you for a minute... I just want some advice."

The small pink rim lining his tired eyes stops me from telling him 'no' despite the fact he knifed Jayden. I shift up a little so there's enough room for him beside me.
