Prompt: He could see her, but no one could see him.
A soft sigh. The rustling of papers. The scratching of a pencil.
Jungkook had grown accustomed to watching her, head resting gently on his chin.
She was beautiful.
Even though people passed right by her diligently working figure, he couldn't manage to tear his eyes away from her, no matter how much he tried.
He was entranced.
But he didn't mind. In fact, he looked forward to waiting at the coffee shop she frequented, eager to see her face.
One day he had worked up enough courage to try to talk to her. Taking a deep breath, he had glided through the small crowd of people seamlessly. Too seamlessly.
He didn't remember.
Its funny, how people can forget the most important elements in a situation.
So he found himself standing in front of her, waiting desperately for her to notice him. Seconds passed. He cleared his throat. She didn't look up.
Blinking, he gently reached out to shake her arm.
He couldn't.
His fingers disappeared through her shirt sleeve, reappearing when he pulled them back up. The girl glanced up, looking around and shivering, pulling her sweater tighter around herself.
Not noticing the broken boy staring in despair at his hands.
Not noticing the look of longing he casted at her.
Not noticing his quivering lips.
She rubbed her eyes tiredly, averting her vision back to her computer screen.
Notice me,
He wanted to say.
Too bad he couldn't.
~
He found himself being drawn closer to her, wanting to be closer to life.
He would sit next to her, looking at the reports she wrote, learning her habits quickly.
Like how she would bite her lips when she was concentrating, how she would always misplace her pencil, how she became so enamored in her work that she wouldn't even notice her coffee getting cold, or the flirting attempts from certain guys who frequented the cafe too.
Jungkook tried not to let his jealousy boil in the pit of his stomach whenever someone tried to get close to her.
He wondered if, even if he was alive, he would have a chance with her.
Because no one notices a little ghost.
Not even the kindest ones.
But the thing was, she wasn't the kindest. She wasn't mean, either. She was average. Average hair, face, body, life, everything.
But she was just as broken as Jungkook.
And maybe he noticed that.

Work hard! And don't let school bring you down! ♡♡
Jungkook sucked in a breath as she sat down with her coffee, eyes catching on the yellow sticky note on her notebook.
She picked it up, eyes scanning it quickly.
A soft smile. A rustle of papers. A scratching of a pencil.
Two hours later she left, backpack hoisted over her shoulder. A bell dinged as the door closed, signalling her exit.
Jungkook sighed.
But his eyes caught on something. A bright blue sticky note, placed on her table.
He rushed over, ignoring the shivers and complaints of winter erupting behind him.
Holding his breath, he picked up the sticky note.
Thank you! And don't worry, I can see you. I couldn't before, but I can now. Ill see you tomorrow!! ♡♡♡
Jungkook swore his heart was beating out of his chest.
