Chapter 8

Merida's POV

"Well......." Rapunzel said.

"Hiccup has something to tell you so me and Rapunzel are going to go somewhere not here." Jack said.

Rapunzel and Jack then ran out the door.

"What is it Hiccup and how did Rapunzel and I get back here?" I asked.

"Okay just don't freak out." He said

"Well apparently when that thug knocked you out, I felt my self growing angrier and angrier and the last thing I remember was everyone getting smaller. Apparently I blacked out and I turned into...... A dragon." I said.

"What? How?" I asked.

"I don't know, my father being the former chief might have something to do with being royal causing me to have my own power!" He stated.

"Oh my gosh! Wait how does that explain how both me and Rapunzel are here?"

"According to Rapunzel I started lighting up the place and they finally gave you up."

He saved me. Again! I don't know why this boy keeps saving me from disasters but I promise I'll make it up for him.

I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"Hey it's okay I'm kind of used to saving you on a daily basis."

Hiccup's POV

"Hey it's okay I'm kind of used to saving you on a daily basis." I said. While hugging her tightly.

I gotta say I'm loving these hugs. Then I finally did something that took all my courage to do. I kissed her. I'm going to pray she doesn't slap me for doing this at a tender moment.

I pulled back preparing for a slap or a stomp on my good foot. But all I get is 

"About time, I thought I was going to have to do all the work all over again!" We laughed.

"Well excuse me for taking my time." I said.

"Well we better make up for it." She smiled.

"Okay I've heard enough." Said a voice from the corner of the room .

"You really have terrible timing Jack." I said.

"Well he is right, we have to get to work." Rapunzel said coming down from the ceiling.

"What work?" Merida asked.

"Your training of course!" She said.
