Merida in Berk

Chapter 15

Hiccup's POV

I walked into Pitch's dark cave yet again and hopefully for the last time. Tooth less was right behind me every step of the way. All of a sudden I heard something hit the cave wall. I got out my shield and waited. As I waited I heard the sound of something dragging on the floor and the temperature became colder. I took a leap of faith and quietly whispered, "Rapunzel? Jack?"

"Hiccup!" I heard a whisper shout come from beside me I looked and tried to make out the figure. It was Rapunzel!!!!!!

"Rapunzel? What are you doing here?" I asked

"We've come to help you save Merida! I knew something was wrong I felt it! Told you so Jack." she said.

"Yeah Yeah whatever." Jack said floating above her.

"Well are we just going to stand here and talk about how I was wrong or are we going to save the girl!"

"I have to tell you guys something first...........Pitch stole my powers." I said.

"What that's impossible the only way someone can take your powers is if you willingly part with them." Rapunzel said.

"Pitch had Merida and said he would give her back If you gave up your powers....he didn't keep his end of the deal." Jack said.

"How did you........" I began to ask.

"From expierence." he said sadly."That's how he took Babytooth, luckily he accidently gave me my powers back by giving me my broken staff," he shook his staff.

"I don't want my powers back, I just want her safe." I said.

"Then lead the way." Rapunzel said.

Merida's POV

Pitch still had me under the frozen spell but since I was under forced good behavior he unfreezed my face. The only thing I could move was my mouth, eyes, and nose.

"Hmmm it seems like little dragon boy is running late." Pitch said.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on him!" I yelled.

"I don't have to dear, you're all I need." he said slyly. If he sees you in any kind of harm he can't transform anymore so the only thing he can do is fight and we both know he can't do that well."

"What about the dragon?" said thug number 1

"Hmm yes that might give him an edge but he won't risk the poor innocent life of his helpless lady now would he?" he said.

He's right. If I am in any danger Hiccup won't risk it. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if I got hurt, even on accident, from something he or his dragon did. I count the endless minutes of a battle I'm not looking forward to.
