Merida in Berk

Chapter 16

Just wanted to make a quick note the witch is the one who taught Pitch the freezing spell (It makes people not able to move)

Jack's POV

"Going somewhere?" we heard the witch cackle. All of a sudden Toothless was missing. "Toothless!" Shouted Hiccup!

"We'll get him back but for now we have to keep going" said Rapunzel.

Okay Jack do not let her freeze you again. I quickly started doing the move I had been training myself to do for the past two weeks. It was an ice shielding spell, anything magic couldn't touch us. I made the shield come all around us and we began walking again. We came to the clearing and saw Merida in the same cage Rapunzel was in before.

"Merida!" Hiccup yelled.

"Hiccup help me please! I'm so scared!" she cried. and wiped her tears.

That's odd. Scared? That doesn't sound like Merida at all. And her powers can melt threw bars so why didn't she just............

THE SHAPESHIFTER!!!!!!

"Hiccup don't!!! It's a trap!" I yelled but it was too late.

Hiccup had ran towards the cage only to see the fake Merida turn back into a snake and grip his hands behind his back.

"Well that was easier than expected." Pitch said coming out of the shadows with the real Merida frozen in her place. I did notice however that her face could move as she blinked several tears away.

"Please let him go" Merida said.

The shape shifter passed Hiccup off to Pitch. As the two thugs grabbed me and Rapunzel.

"Why don't we see what young Hiccup's dreams are?" said Pitch.

Oh no! God if only me and Rapunzel could get loose or If Merida was unfrozened. That's it! Okay Jack you only have one shot at this think think THINK!

Merida's POV

As Pitch was about to pick at Hiccup's dreams and turn them all into nightmares while I watch helplessly. Something stopped him I glanced and saw Jack staring at me, almost glaring and his face was turning more blue then usual.

"What is the young Mr. Frost doing?" said Pitch.

"The boy looks like he's going to throw up." said the hag.

I wondered too, but I started to have feelings in my hands again. HE's unfreezing me! I blinked at him in morse code to let him know it was working. I felt my feet, my legs, my hands until finally my body was free. I stayed completely still waiting for the right moment and blinked at Jack to say I was free and I looked over at the witch.

He understood my signal and looked at the witch.

"He's frozen my ar-" the hag didn't get to finish her sentence she was frozen in place. Now it was my turn. I moved my unfrozen limbs swiftly and fried the snake(shapeshifter) and the hag with my flames until they became dust and ash.

The thugs released Rapunzel and Jack and ran out of the cave.

I turned around to finish off Pitch but when I did I saw him grip his hands around Hiccup's throat. I made a fire ball in my hands.

"Ah ah ah wouldn't want to burn Hiccup, we all know how bad you are at keeping control." He smirked.

"Well I have pretty good control of my powers and I can save Hiccup and destroy you." Jack shouted.

"Oh I know you can Jack, but you have your own love to save." He said.

Up came dark shadows from a portal in the ground and they gripped at Rapunzel's hair and ankles trying to pull her into the dark portal from which they came.

Rapunzel screamed.

Jack grabbed her hand and froze her hair to the ground just so she could stay in place. The shadows were still trying to pull.

Pitch then turned to me.

"Look at all the trouble you caused my little fire." He said.

"Merida do it!" Hiccup choked."Help the others just (pant pant) blast him. I love you, you can do it."

"I love you too and I'm so sorry." I cried.

I lifted my hand and withdrew fire from it. Concentrate Merida don't let it get out of control. Only hit Pitch don't kill Hiccup.

I heard Pitch yell in agony as my flames turned from orange to blue. I withdrew my fire. And saw nothing but a pile off ash and Hiccup crouching over. Oh no! What have I done! Jack and Rapunzel rushed by my side the dark shadows had died with Pitch.

I went over to Hiccup and turned him over. Edges of his hair were burned and a piece of his ear was burned.

"Well that was a little too close for comfort." He panted.

"Hiccup!!! You're alive!!!" I shouted and wrapped my arms around him.

"Ouch." He said. Realizing I had touch the burnt part of his ear.

"Sorry!"

"Nah it's okay pain...love it." He said sarcastically. He smiled.

I pulled the front of his shirt and kissed him. God I missed this.

"Um guys we're still here." Jack said awkwardly

I pulled away and blushed. "Sorry."

"No problem red, but we can do all that reunion stuff later but first I think I have something Hiccup wants." He smirked.

"What is it?" Hiccup asked.

AUTHORS NOTE: IM SO SAD THE STORY IS ALMOST OVER ONLY A FEW CHAPTERS LEFT UGH BUT DON'T BE SAD IM STILL THINKING ABOUT MAKING A SEQUAL HMMMMM :D
