chapter 5

Chapter 5- Girl talk

I started to stir and started waking up from my black-out. "Everyone, she's awake"! yelled the voice of amy (who else). Then a herd of people (otherwise known as sonic and his crew) came running to my side. I was back in the healing room. "Are you alright"? asked sonic. "why did your ring glow"? asked rouge. "Why were robots after you"? asked cream. "Are you a spy"? asked knuckles. "HEY"! yelled tails as he and amy backed them up. "she can't hardly breath with everyone crowding her". I then sat up giving them a glare. "Sorry, Sophie". said sonic nervous like. My glare then softened "It's ok". I said smiling. "Now leave"! "Sophie needs rest". said amy shooing them out. "if you need me, just holler". "ok, amy". I then put my head back and closed my eyes. I then heard footsteps. I shot my eyes wide open and sat straight up. I then started looking around and saw a shadow on the ground but no one there. "Who's there"? I asked. then the figure stepped out of the dark corner and starred straight at me. It was Shadow the Hedgehog. I felt a love struck and goose bumps rise  on meat the same time. I then, at that moment, remembered what Amy said to me. "Just try to stay away from him if you know what's good for you". "Because he's troubled and might do something crazy". I said to myself. Shadow then started coming closer to me. I didn't know what to do because I was scared. So, I picked up a spatula and raised it in front of me. (I know, what's a spatula doing in the healing room in the first place)? I then closed my eyes and I felt breathing on my face. I did not dare opened them now. "Is that the way to treat your rescuer"? said shadow the hedgehog in a lustful way. "why do you fear me"? he asked. "I uh....don't". I said in a scared like way. "Fine, if you don't fear me, then put the spatula down". I didn't dare argue with him, so I threw it on the ground. "Now, open your eyes". I slowly opened them to see his beautiful, red ruby eyes, staring at me. "was that so hard"? I began to shake. "So, you don't wanna hurt me"? I asked. Shadow could tell that I was scared and held my hand. "Don't be afraid of me".  he said in a sweet, loving way. I then started to cry. Shadow could tell that this wasn't gonna work and he thought he was making it worse. So Shadow let go of my hand and zoomed out of the room. "Are you feeling any better'? asked cream as she came in. She saw me balling my eyes out and wore a red face. "oh dear". she said. Her chao, cheese, handed me a tissue box. "thanks cheese". I said wiping tears away. "what happened"? she asked. I just got up and asked "can we go to amy's room , so we can talk"? "Sure". she then grabbed my arm and headed up stairs. She then knocked on amy's door. "come in". she said. we opened the door to see amy and rouge, doing their nails, while looking through girl magazines. "hey, what happened to you, hun"? asked rouge. "that's why were here, for her to explain why she is so upset". finished cream. "well, take a seat on the floor, you've come to the right place". added amy.    5 minutes of girl talk later......   "oh sweety, I feel for you". admitted rouge. "I'd say give him a chance". Amy then looked at rouge and then at me. "I was just trying to warn you of what shadow used to be, but if you feel for him truly and feel like taking a risk, then go for it". "Are you sure"? she then took a deep breath and said "just try not to get hurt or let him fool you, okay"? "okay, i'll try". "you ready". said rouge grabbing her bag. "yes". amy said without hesitating. "Ready for what"? I said confused like. "to go shopping, silly". said amy at happy maximum. "we do this every Saturday". said rouge in confidence. "you should come". I then started looking at the ground. "I'm not sure". "You could find a outfit for you that {shadow} would like"? she asked real sly, sneaky like. I then started to blush very badly all around my cheeks. "ok, ok". I said giving up. (you know, before rouge says something else more embarrassing). "Great"! "let's go". said amy grabbing my arm and running out the door. She ran downstairs so quick, that she made me trip and fall. "AHHH"! I yelled and was then caught by shadow. I started to blush. "thanks". I simply said and headed out the door with amy ahead and rouge behind. We walked 3 football field lengths until we reached the town square called "Rose Pedal Center". We saw shops of all kinds that caught my attention. I then saw a necklace that was a black heart ,with red stripes on it. I opened it and inside had 2 S'. "I'm getting this". I said to myself. I managed to get the necklace and we went to Diamond Crystal Mall. It was pretty big, considering of the kind of town it is. We entered the mall and it was more beautiful then on the outside. We went to different places and started shopping rapidly. It was then 2:30, so we decided to grab lunch. We ordered at "Chicken Mcbetties" and sat down to have a little talk. "So"? "So what rouge"? I asked. "So, how did you enjoy today"? added amy. I then started smiling. "Today, so far, was so fun"! I answered without hesitation. I then spotted a clothing/jewelry store. "I'll be right back". I said as I rushed to a store that was called {Hedgy's}. Inside was a wonderland of clothes that I've never seen before. I then spotted a black and red outfit: Black shirt with a red heart on it, pure black pants with red hearts on the bottom of the sides, black belt with a red heart buckle. (It was perfect). "That would look good on you". I turned around to see a yellow hedgehog, with orange stripes on his spike tips, with one huge orange stripe on his head, wearing a dark blue outfit (shirt and pants), wore white sneakers with orange and yellow stripes on it and also wore a name tag on that said {Chaz Hedgy}.  "you think so"? I asked. "I know so". he answered "try it on". I then headed for the dressing room and unchanged. After I put the outfit on, I opened the door to see a opened, wide eyed hedgehog; staring at me. "how do I look"? I asked shyly. "beautiful". he answered. I then looked in the mirror and saw myself. "I finally look pretty". I said to myself. "what was that"? "uh....I'll take it". I covered up. After I changed back into my old clothes, I bought a few other things and headed out until...."Hey Wait"! said chaz heading my way. He then started smiling at me. "what's your name"?  I then looked at him with a surprised look. "uh...Sophia Brook". "but, call me Sophie".  I said in a curious way. "well' sophie, I want you to take this". He then handed me a shopping spree card to anything in the store. "I can't accept this, hedgy". I said trying to give it back. "I was holding on to it, but don't need it for anything so I want you to give it to someone who will get a good use out of it." I then started smiling. "Gee, I don't know what to say". "thank you". I then started to frown "Are you just being nice to me because i'm a human"? I asked crossing my arms. "no, you are just a great customer". I then rolled my eyes. "ok then". I said trying to leave. "oh and here". He then handed me his card. "If you ever want to talk to me about well....anything, just call this number, okay"? "ok". I said smiling creepy like. Chaz then went back inside and I started to running. [creepy]. I thought in my mind as I looked backed to see if he wasn't following me. I wasn't looking where I was going and bumped heads with someone (sending me flat on my belly). "hey hun". said rouge as she held her head. Amy then came beside both of us and helped us up. "why the rush"? asked amy. "no reason". I lied. Rouge then crossed her arms and narrowed at me with her green eyes. "uh huh"? "Really"? I then knew there was no hiding this. "I was just getting away from a crazy dude, that's all". "okay, whatever you say". said amy putting her hand on her hips. "Can we just go now"? I asked. "Not yet, I wanna go to Cindy Clare's, AKA C.C.'s Clothing store"! shrieked Amy as she and Rouge ran in the store. I then rolled my eyes at this craziness. After hours of shopping, we got tired and we had cart full of bags (because we couldn't hold them all in our hands). We then rented a taxi to take us home. We then arrived backed to Sonic's house and it was pitch black outside. Rouge paid the taxi-cab and we knocked on Sonic's door. Tails opened it and said "where have you guys been all day"? "it's past 9:00". He then noticed the bags in our hands and rolled his eyes. "I will never understand girls". "Shut-up tails". said rouge winking at him. Tails' face turned pale. "She's just kidding". amy said heading to her room. I then went to my room,put my stuff down, and got ready for bed. I then starred at the moon from the previous night and then got in the bed. I then sheded a tear and then fell asleep.
