I cleared my throat, reminding them that I was once again conscious of the outside world. They broke apart, both blushing slightly.

"We.. I..." John started.

"I don't care, I don't wanna know." I said, walking up to the wall.

The symbol on my arm had turned black. I used my finger to draw the same symbol on the wall, the tendrils on my arm shifting around, and growing. The enchantment on my arm pulsed a bright green, the same green that I knew my eyes had turned, before it dulled slightly.

"Come here." I said.
Both boys did as instructed.
I worked on Sherlock first, as he had participated in some of my other spells.
"sleeve." I muttered. He rolled up his sleeve, and I placed the enchantment on the inside of his upper arm, where it pulsed again.

"John." I turned.

"What... What is that?" he asked.

"Enchantment of hiding. It means that it will take him longer to find us. Unless he somehow breaches our defences, he won't be able to. I've also placed it on the castle, but this is an extra line of defence."

"Fine. If it works." he too rolled up his sleeve.

"It does." I said, casting the enchantment.
John stared at the new mark on his arm, before covering it again.

"There. Now, where were we... Ah yes..." I got cut off by Sherlock.

"Well, it started wi.."

"I still don't want to know. So long as you see a light at the end of this dark tunnel, Sherlock." Sherlock had once described his life once he was blinded as 'a long dark tunnel with no end'
"And, John? If you do anything, anything at all, to hurt Sherlock, remember: not all my spells are for good. Now that we've got that cleared up, let's get back to our houses before Filch catches us."

"Sure. Good idea." John said, looking slightly worried.
I walked out of the door, Sherlock and Redbeard II following me. John slipped his hand into Sherlock's as they walked. Once we were at the fat lady he kissed Sherlock lightly on the cheek before turning to the portrait. "Hound." It swung open, and I caught a glimpse of the common room beyond, before it swung shut again.

"Well." said the portrait. "A Ravenclaw hmm? Well, I wish Watson luck."

Sherlock snorted, muttering something about the fat lady being a brainless idiot.

"I heard that!" she shrieked, as we walked away.

"Good!" Sherlock called over his shoulder.

"Shhh!" I said, pulling Sherlock behind a stone gargoyle.

"But... But Severus!" Lupin's voice floated down the hall.

"No." Snape said. I could hear the smirk on his face. Soon enough, he strode past, holding a potion.

"I need it, Professor Snape." Lupin said coldly, done with the begging.
Snape turned round, and stopped. "And tell me why I should help you."

We were stuck between the two arguing professors.

"Because if you don't, everyone in this castle could die." Lupin said calmly.
