Adri's POV

Incoming call: Calum
I woke up to the sound of ringing that became louder and louder. I realized it was a phone so I took it off my night stand, seeing that calum was calling me.
I pressed talk and he said, "would you be interested in a midnight picnic?"
"Is this a booty call?" I asked and he laughed.
"You're delightful"
"Where are you?"
"outside your house" he told me
"oh my god" i responded and he giggled.
"two minutes" i told him and hung up. I slipped on a white shirt and some shorts with converse. I put a flannel over it and grabbed my phone and tip-toed down the stairs, and out the door to find calum leaning against his car.
"Hello.." He greeted me.
"You're not real" I said and he laughed and opened the door for me.
"Okay where are you taking me?" I asked when he began to drive.
"Somewhere" he spoke and I rolled my eyes. We drove further down the road entering a neighbourhood I've never been into.
He turned the radio up, and I rolled down my window resting my hand on the ledge. His hand left the steering wheel meeting my thigh his cold hand gripping it.
"Calum it's almost midnight" I told him
(IM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK ALREADY)
"We're getting there don't worry I got you" he said and I relaxed.
He turned into a dirt road and went up a hill, parking at a tree.
"We're here" he said and I smiled at his mysteriousness. I got out of the car following him through some trees, some light caught my eye and he led me towards it. We walked around this tree revealing a blanket on the edge of a cliff and Christmas lights hung on the tree branches.
"Wow," I said breathless. Don't know if it was from the car ride or the hill.
"Like it?" He asked and I nodded. We sat down and he pulled out a pint of icecream and two spoons and I smiled. I took one of the spoons and he opened the pint and I took a spoon full and ate it. I turned to face him, we both were sitting cross legged with the ice cream between us.
"Thanks for this"
"No problem, we had to have a first date somewhere"
"Easy young grasshopper.." I said and he rolled his eyes. We finished the icecream soon, just talking back and forth.
We sat at the edge of the cliff our feet hanging off staring at the stars like we were expecting them to move.
His hands found themselves to my waist pulling me to him and we just stayed there, together.
