Shawn's POV
1 week later
The first day back to school, from spring break is a little hard for everyone, some more than others.
I walked through the halls of hungover and groaning juniors, keeping my arms to my sides I struggled through the hallways trying to attract as little attention as possible.
And that was my entire day.
•••
finally my last period - I sat in the library reading a book for Language and writing down some notes for my report later.
All of a sudden a cold hand touches my shoulder and I knew exactly who it was.
"Shawn... we need to talk" Lana starts.
"What's wrong, babe" I said turning around to face her but she sat in the empty seat to my left making my actions completely meaningless.
"I think I overreacted to the news about Adri, it just... just bothers me, ya' know? i feel like I'm just a rebound to you and it hurts because I really like you." Lana pursed her lips together looking me straight in the eyes, batting her eyelashes slightly.
"And look..." she breathed "I dyed my hair back" she took her hat from the tip and pulled it off her hair, revealing light blue hair with darker patches.
"i forgive you?" I said like a question, because I really didn't know how she wanted me to respond to that. She didn't apologize, just told me how she felt.
Lana smiled letting out a small laugh and I laughed along with her. "Come 'ere" she said through her laughter. I leaned into her and she placed a sloppy kiss on my lips. She pulled herself onto my lap without breaking the kiss she was smiling just so wide under. Her hands played with the hairs on the nape of my neck and my just stayed parked low on her waist.
"I really like you, Shawn." she whispered but it was just loud enough for a certain now blonde to take one look and run out of the library.
