Adri's POV
So, naturally, I ignored Lana's threat and just continued on with Shawn like nothing happened. She's seven weeks pregnant, how much damage could she possibly do? Of course I thought about telling Shawn and my family maybe the police - help take care of that psycho and i should, i really should. I wish the 'but..' that im trying every so desperately not to let out followed a good excuse but it just didn't. I really did not have a good reason to want to keep this entire thing to myself. Maybe it was because of the questions that followed, or if this became a big thing and the news got involved - what it would do to shawn's career - all his growing fanbase to know that he got a girl pregnant and has been cheating on her since day one. And his fanbase was huge may I add, to the point where he had to wear sunglasses on dates or disguises to take out the trash.
It was the end of school and I was casually walking through the halls, since my last period was a free one I decided to do some studying in the library but then got bored and wrapped up early. I clutched the straps of my backpack and walked in the abandoned hallways that were literally completely empty. all of sudden a door jolted open with so much force that it hit the attached walls. So, naturally, i turned around. Shawn with a gigantically stupid smile o his face ran at full speed towards me, dropping his backpack in the process.
I yelled multiple profanities while he ran - mostly out of pure fear. Shawn eventually reached m being and grabbed me by my sides, pulling me into a tight hug. "Shawn, I can't breathe." I choked out into his shoulder. He moved his hands from my waist to my ass and picked me up, spinning me around.
"I got it! I got in! I got it!" He yelled time after time again, not giving me any damn context clues in what the fuck he meant.
"Shawn, what are you talking about?" I laughed through my words. He set me on the ground before grabbing my shoulders and shaking me. "I got signed! Island Records signed with me!" He screamed and a huge smile grew on m face, at this moment people began flowing out of the classrooms.
"That's amazing!" I exclaimed, reaching on my tip toes to wrap my arms around his neck. We swayed back and forth for a while before I pulled away and planted a kiss on his lips. "Congratulations" -kiss- "baby, that's great" I smiled looking up at him. Shawn smiled back and wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked through the halls. It was only in that moment that I realized, we had just kissed. Infront of everyone.
