Shawn's POV

"Adri! Your late for school, get up!" A female voice yelled, my eyes snapped over and I looked over to see a brunette curled up in a ball, pressed against me.

"Yes mom!" the girl groaned before the door was shut roughly.

Adri sat up and stretched, "morning you ass" she nudged me while pushing the sheets out of her way to climb out of bed.

"What time is it?" I rubbed my eyes.

"Late." Adri laughed, grabbing what looked like a black tank top from her closet followed by grey sweatpants.

She gripped the band of her shorts before I interupted her - "woah, woah, woah! what are you doing!?" I exclaimed.

"changing?" she said as if it was the most obvious thing, which it was but that's not the point, don't think about it.

"yeah, but - infront of me?"

"yes shawn we've been friends for 15 years are we still holding up on that whole modesty thing?"

"it's not modesty it's just socially acceptable behaviour! do you walk around naked infront of your brothers?"

"no but - whatever" adri laughed shaking her head. "you be socially acceptable, shawn." she walked into her bathroom to continue I guess.

I understand that we like shit infront of eachother but changing is a totally different thing - isn't it?

"crap, Shawn? can you pass me a bra?"

"NOT SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE!" I exclaimed covering my ears as adri laughed from the bathroom, "just messin' with you, booger" adri said walking out of the bathroom fully dressed.

"here." She passed me one of my sweatpants along with my old soccer sweatshirt that I probably gave her in freshman year.

I mumbled a quick "thanks." before taking them and slipping them on OVER my underwear while adri was turned around putting on some necklaces.

"Done?" She asked turning to face me and I nodded. Adri grabbed her backpack that was pressed against the door and we left her room shoulder by shoulder.

Her family had already left so I walked into the kitchen and grabbed two chocolate chip muffins and handed one to her.

"typical."

"what?"

"you love muffins."

"im proud."

Adri locked the door and we began walking to school, "i know you do, I know you do" she nodded taking a bite out of the muffin followed by her spitting it out onto the sidewalk.

"Shawn! You gave me the raisin one!" She exclaimed jumping up and down swatting her tongue.

"I know." I smirked and Adri stomped on my foot.

"Ow!" I yelled grabbing my toe.

Adri laughed.

"Your a senior savage - you know that?" I asked turning to face her.

"I know." she shrugged and I nudged her with my elbow, laughing slightly. We swayed while we walked, dragging both of our feet not worrying at all about the fact that bell was going to ring in 2 minutes.

"we still on for the movies?" I asked turning to face her.

"yeah- ugh no, grayson has baseball." she rolled her eyes.

"why do i have déjà vu?" i asked and adri shrugged laughing until i felt an unknown weight on my neck, and i turned to see lana. standing tall with a coffee and sunglasses in her hand. Her white t-shirt was tied to stop above her belly button and her black skinny jeans stuck tight to her slim thighs. She was a wearing a Yankees hat and probably had no idea who they were - wait, what.

"hey baby." she smiled leaning into me, and kissing my lips.

"hey." i smiled awkwardly.

"oh - hey adri." she got off me and waved slightly, smiling wide.

adri just stared back before responding " ..... hey" she breathed, looking down at herself.

"I didn't-" Lana started to speak but I cut her off when I saw Adri turning to walk away.

"I'll see you later?" I asked, speaking up.

" ........ yep."
