Shawn's POV
So my journey to make friends was working, slowly.
Jake-a friend I had in the beginning of the year but quickly lost invited me to a party-where I hope to meet some people.
Adri was the only person in my life for a really long time and that's where I went wrong.
I was sitting in my last class of the day, 25 seconds left.
I packed up my stuff as I watched the clock ticking.

I lifted myself up slightly.

The bell rang and I stood up and basically ran out of that class room leaving nothing but a breeze.
I lingered in the hallway around smiling faces and loud talking, Adri came out of a class and her eyes met mine and a smile grew across hey face as she began walking towards me. Until Calum tapped her shoulder and she turned around pulling him into hug.
I stared at them blankly, I was jealous but why was I jealous? I already confirmed that I liked her and I had a chance but everything was ruined as soon as he walked into her life.
My staring session was interupted when a girl slid infront of me.
"Hey, Shawn right?" She spoke slowly.
"Yeah"
"Give me your phone." She instructed and I hesitantly pulled my black IPhone 5 out of my pocket and quickly unlocked it and handed it to her.
She sent a quick message and handed it back to me, "It's my 17th birthday" congratulations "and I'm having a birthday party. come" and with that she disappeared.

As I walked into the party I immediately wanted to leave. Bodies moved up and down to loud rap music, people made out in corners, some were already passed out.
As I turned to leave a voice yelled my name, I turned to see the same purple haired girl finding her way to me, and then grabbing my hand.
I had to admit, she was hot, I wasn't really attracted to her but she was hot. Her white shirt stopped a few inches below her boobs her black shorts stuck to her butt and she was talking to me.
"I want you to stay. Come meet my friends, let me get you a drink."
"Okay" I breathed and she smiled widely. She grabbed my hand and led me threw the crowds of people to the kitchen and poured me a cup of clear liquid and handed it to me.
She stood impatient until I took a sip,
"wow" I said and she smiled again.
"I know right!"
Before I knew it she grabbed my hand and led me to where most of the sweaty bodies stood.
"Hey, um.. what's your name?" I asked her.
"Lana." She turned to me and strung my arm around her shoulder and began rocking back and forth.
I followed her stiffly and she let out a small giggle, "loosen up. I won't hurt you" she spun herself around and rubbed herself against me.

It was awkward for a while until it began enjoyable. Song after song we danced non-stop.
As much as I love it, something about it was wrong. I felt like I was betraying Adri and I don't know whether it was that look on her face as she walked through the door but I better loose those feelings because she doesn't like me and she never will.
