For you
– By Sophia Cac
Sounding of the beat
I counted how many sins I've made.
Having my soul pure
But my mind with endless
Failing to commit
But keeps up with mistakes
I felt sadness
But with no expression
I fell for you
I should have think twice
For everything that falls, breaks.
I lied, but only tell a half-true lie.
Hearing this beat that you made
I thank you for keeping on ticking the time.
Screams of the unheard
Blood ran through my veins.
I fell for you
But maybe eternity won't be enough for us
Maybe our pictures will be discarded with the rest,
Pushed into boxes at the back of our
Children's closets
There no turning back now
Here, my thoughts turn against me.
They whisper in my head,
Go back to bed. Go back to sleep.
The day is not yours.
I am not welcomed by the world.
But I still insist to listen
Footing my feet in the line
Wishing these fantasies to stop
Breaking the reality from the facts
I should have listen
For now, knowing the facts
I fell for you.
