Scattered Ink
- By Sophia Cac
Sitting down,
nothing much to do around here.
With the words scattered in my head, it's always doom day in here.
I wish they would go away,
I wish they would be shot down, so it could be silent in the night or the day.
Though, it used to be not much a big deal,
hearing each facts.
They keep remind me of who I am...
What I am.
Deciding, hoping, thinking,
what will happen if I write them down.
Would they become silence finally 'till dawn?
Would they get louder like the church's wedding bells?
Maybe it's worth a try, it'll help me get out of this cell.
Grabbing a pen,
with white, blank paper on the table, the lights start to dim.
Closing both of my eyes, ignoring whose voices was inside my den
so that I could think, hope, decide what to do to shoot the words like an ungrateful hen.
I hear the quiet voices,
silent whispers in the air, I who it caress.
There was nothing to miss.
I then begin my journey.
It would be long but I would do no delay.
For I am meant to go there, it's what fate had given, as a repay.
Where the world become just quiet place.
Where everything are formed in such wording, the time's slow down its pace.
My home, there shall I be given grace.
It is where I can be,
there I could be who I truly meant to be.
Who I am, my delay was suffocating yet the best place to be
Opening my eyes, seeing such sight.
A smile on my face, with my heart so calm.
It brought a tears on my own eyes.
It feels so nice, to let the ink be scattered around.
Scattered feelings,
scattered melodies,
scattered memories,
scattered inks.
What a nice world it is...
