Unspoken

by Sophia Cac

Today, as the sun finally rose,
friendship was broken.
Wrongs have been denied,
Rights have been defended.

He was wrong, he knew he is.
Never less, the word "sorry" was hard to speak up for him.
A friend of his is now on his way, away from his life, and now he laugh.
People, unknown creature they called, now join him in his none reasonable happiness.

He said "I'll be off without him, it's the right thing to do anyway."
He was wrong, and he knew it all along.
Yet even his words have been spoke so eagerly,
his heart and body never wish for the bond they share to be broken.
Like a whole paper, flip into half as their worthless fight lurks around the two of them and then finally, torn apart completely.

He look at him, his eyes show his guilt, yet his pride was on line.
He was kind, funny even. Yet he was lost on his own track.
His good friend, his very best friend, was hurt by his unspoken words.
And now, I watch the two of them, apart from each other
as their gaze look at each other.

Unspoken friendship it was,
never less I have no power to spoke it out loud.
