Was I asking for too much?
Respect, loyalty failing
as you left me falling.
Love, truth revealed
left me circling around.Was I too much?
To say what I must,
yet you left me to dust.
Ashes I became,
in the air my home become.Was it too much?
Sweetest lie,
blinded with love,
felt unpleasant with with truth,
while I embrace the lies.
Acquainted with strangers
while I'm surrounded with strange beings.My love, I ask you.
