Old one

by Sophia Cac

Adult are more likely to be children.
Always been such stubborn child.
Can be such selfish, and
always having the goal of your desire.

You can't use your age on me, old one.
I am more likely to know what is life than you.
You can never say that you are more experienced,
for I've gone through the hole of hell.

You can never use your power to control me,
for I am free as the bird in the sky.
Try and cage me down,
you'll be shock what you'll see before you.

Adult or not, you're still a child.
You're learning like me,
fighting like me,
surviving like me.

Never less, everyone is the same.
We're all child of God, He is the only father.
Try to take what's mine,
let's see how you'll react when you see Him in me.

You can never cease me, old one
Remember that.
