Ugh today is the day I have been dreading for months. It's moving day, I told my mum that I didn't want to move in the first place but then she explained that my grandmother is really sick and we need to take care of her so I agreed. I told my friends and they immediately understood.
"Well, I guess this is it huh?" My best friend Samantha says and I nod
"I guess so. I'm gonna miss you guys so much" I say while giving my best friends a hug
"Well we are just a phone call away if you need us" Jake (my other bff) says
"And don't forget to skype us everyday!" Luke says and I nod. We all do a group hug before me, my mum and my brother Ty aboard the plane. Goodbye London, hello Portland.

We just pulled in front of our new house and it is gorgeous. I wouldn't even use the word house it's more like a mansion. It has a spiral staircase leading upstairs and there are two floors, well three if you count the basement.
"Wow mum this house is gorgeous" I say and my brother Ty interrupts me "house? This is a mansion!" He shouts purposely so his voice will echo and I chuckle
"Well kids, school starts tomorrow" mum says and me and Ty are already dreading it. For those of you that are confused, I just turned 16 along with Ty because we are twins. It's ridiculous that we have to start school in the middle of November but oh well.
"Ughhhh I don't want to go to school" Me and Ty whine like we are five years old.
"Well too bad, it's your junior year it will be fun!" Mum says with enthusiasm and Ty rolls his eyes and I lightly punch him
"Hey, at least we will know each other. It's not like we are in separate grades. Plus we have the same classes together, except I have dance and you have art" I say and he smiles
"Yeah, I'm glad. Well we should probably get to sleep" Ty says while kissing mum on the cheek and walking upstairs.
"Goodnight mum" I say while hugging her and she gives me a kiss on the cheek. I run upstairs to my new room and plop on the bed

We are now in front of our new school and I am nervous. Me and Ty walk into school and go to our first period classes. Which is dance and art. I walk into the huge room to see a bunch of girls and guys paired up and they are all looking at me funny. I give the teacher my pass from the office and she smiles. "It's lovely to have a new face around here. I'm mrs Grayson" the teacher says and I nod
"I'm Avery Hunter" I say and she looks around and she smiles when a guy in a leather jacket walks into the room. "Oh mr Halloway, it's so nice to see you. I was just looking for a partner for mrs Hunter here but your here now so I am pairing you two up" she says and he smirks. Oh god this is gonna be trouble.
"Hi, I am Toby Halloway, here's my number maybe we can hang out sometime" he says while winking and I roll my eyes
"I'm Avery Hunter and no thanks. You seem like a great guy though , we should get to know each other" I say sarcastically and he smirks again
"Okay class, we are going to be doing hip hop today. You and your partner are to come up with a routine to the song What Do You Mean? By Justin Bieber" mrs Grayson says and I roll my eyes
"What princess, don't you like the Biebs?" He says obnoxiously and I scowl (No offense to Beliebers)
"I hate him so much. He thinks who he is but he's nothing but a pretty boy who can't even sing" I say and he chuckles
"What's so funny?" I say and he shakes his head. "Just all of the other girls that I have had relations with have been head over heels for the Biebs" he says and I roll my eyes
"Well, I'm not like any girl you will meet" I say and he smirks. Man I just want to wipe that smirk off his face. Who does he think he is?
"Okay, next up is Avery and Toby" mrs Grayson says and I am freaking out. I think he sees the panicked look on my face so he grabs my chin and makes me look him in his beautiful blue eyes
"It's going to be okay, just improv" he says and I nod. Luckily I can dance. The music starts playing and Toby starts spinning me fast. Then on the lyrics 'first you wanna go to the left then you wanna turn right. Wanna argue all day making love all night' Toby let's me move in my own so I turn and shake my hips. Then he slid over to me and I pushed him back and he got up, grabbed me and dipped me.
When mrs Grayson stops the music everyone is clapping and whistling so I smile. I push Toby off of me and go over to two guys and a girl who start talking to me. "You guys did amazing. Have you danced before?" The girl who I have yet to learn her name asks and I nod
"Actually yes, I took hip hop for 12 years" I say and her and the guys look impressed. "I'm Tori, this is Adam and Nick" she says and I smile. "Hi I'm Avery, I'm new"
"I though so because I have never seen you in this class before. I haven't even seen Toby dance like that in years" she says and one question is going through my brain
"You know him?" I ask and she nods
"Everyone knows Toby, but she should especially know him because she's his sister" Adam says and I am taken back
"Your his sister? Wow, you guys are nothing alike but you sort of do look alike" I say and she smiles. "I would hope so because we are fraternal twins" she says and I laugh
The bell rings and I head off to my next class along with my new friends. "My brother likes you" Tori says and I shake my head
"Your brother does not like me. He likes a lot of girls" I say and she shakes her head
"He's never acted the way that he did today with you. I saw the way that he danced with such passion with you. He hasn't danced like that in years" she says and I shake my head
"That's crazy, I only met him today. He can't possibly like me" I say and she frowns. Apparently she and the guys are in all of my classes also so this should be fun.

We are now sitting at lunch. I spot Ty walking with Toby, great just great. "Hey Ty, how is your day going?" I say and he gives me a hug and smiles
"Actually really good, I met a new friend named-"
"Hey Toby" I say sarcastically and Ty looks confused
"You two know each other?" Ty says confused and we nod
"We are dance partners, you could say we have chemistry" Toby says and I roll my eyes.
"Moving on, Ty this is Adam, Nick and Tori my new friends" I say and Ty smiles. "Hi" they all say in unison and Ty smiles.
And that's how we spent our day. We all got to know each other better. Ty went with Toby to his house, so it looks like it's a beginning of a new friendship.
