Chapter 5- Brother Vs Sister

"Alight class, today we will be playing dodgeball outside" mrs Beverly says and we all groan

"It's the middle of December mrs B" Toby whines and she smiles

"All the more reason to work for the win mr Halloway. Captains are Tyler and Avery" mrs Beverly says and the whole class 'oohhhhhs' because it has almost been 3 weeks and I am still not talking to Ty. Everyone knows about our feud.

After about a half hour, it's down to me and Tori on my team and Toby and Ty on Ty's team. I guess it's a brother vs sister showdown. Ty strikes out Tori and Toby throws the ball at me which I catch so that means it just down to me and Ty. I keep jumping around because it's freezing outside. "Ohhhh brother vs sister!" Adam shouts and I roll my eyes

"Look how about we do this, if I win you let me explain and if you win then you still have to talk to me but you can torture me for the rest of my life" he says and I smirk

"Deal" I say as I throw the ball at him and catch him off guard. Mrs Beverly blows the whistle "And the winner is Avery!"

"That's ma' girl" Tori shouts and I smile. "Alright Ty, we have five minutes till the bell rings so that gives you three minutes starting now" I say and he nods

"Look, I'm sorry. I know that I slept with your enemy when you were in a time of need and I deeply apologize. What I did was wrong but there's an explanation. After I saw the video and you go running, I went to talk to her and one thing led to another. I'm really sorry that I wasn't there for you when you needed me"

"Your right Ty, you weren't there and that's the problem. You don't get it do you? You saw me crying yet you went after her and didn't even come looking for me. And what makes it even worse, you bragged about 'going home' with her to the guys. I mean we all know she's a slut but I didn't expect you to be one too" I spit and his face looks red from anger and that's when he blows up

"She is not a slut and niether am I. I know what I did was wrong Ave, BUT HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A SLUT!"

"Your right I shouldn't call you a slut, I should call you a manwhore because you had Samantha back home. And then you say that you like Tori and then you sleep with Hadley!" I shout and he hits me which hurts like hell.

"HOW COULD YOU?!" I shout and he looks upset, like he is regretting it.

"I'm sorry Ave-"

"Don't talk to me. And besides home, don't you dare have an contact with me or even look at me for that matter. We may still share blood, but you are not Tyler Hunter. The Tyler Hunter I know would never hit a girl, let alone his sister. You make me sick" I shout while walking back inside while crying.

Tori and the guys come rushing over to me. Without even saying anything, Toby hugs me and I let all of my tears out. "I can't believe he would do that" I say in between cries

"What did he do?" Adam asks and I take my hood off to reveal the red spot on my face. "Oh my god" Tori says and I feel Toby's grip get tighter

"I'm gonna kill him" I hear Toby mutter and I shake my head. "No your not, I made it clear that he is to have no contact with me what's so ever. If he brakes that then we can talk beatings"

"What he did was not right Ave" he says and I nod. "I know, I know he shouldn't have hit me and it was despicable of him to do that. But he shouldn't have slept with Hadley either. The old Ty I know would never have done such a thing like that"

"It's okay Ave, it's gonna be alright" Toby says while rocking us back and fourth. Once I finally get myself together, we all get up and go to dance class thank god that Ty is not in this class.
