Chapter 13- This Was My Outing To The World

Okay so today is May 16 aka the talent show and I am really nervous because me and Toby have been practicing for a while and we can't get the part where I slide under him right.

"Ugh Come on Ave, we have been doing this all day and we haven't gotten it right once" Toby complains

"I know it's just hard. Maybe on stage it'll be different because the wood is easier to slide on" I say and he nods

"I hope so-" he is cut off by Marley the stage director. "You two are on in five" she says and we nod.

Five minutes later...
"Okay students and faculty. We are gonna kick off today's talent show with two of our best dancers. Give it up for Toby and Avery!" Tori says. Tori is the president of the student council so she announces things and all that.

Me and Toby walk on sage and get into our beginning poses. We nail every move and it's time for the slide. I run and do a side- Ariel and then successfully slide under him. The crowd claps and roars for us and we bow and walk off stage.

"That was awesome!" I say while hugging him and he returns it and then kisses me. It lasts for a while until Adam clears his throat.

"Eh- hem there are other people here ya know? You guys did great" he says while hugging both of us.

"And now we will have Adam Daniels singing hello by Adele!" Tori says and me and Toby are shocked. Adam walks on stage and sits down by the piano. He starts playing beautifully and then he starts singing ( watch the video above to see what he sounds like):
