'Tis the season to be jolly', yeah right. This has been a day from hell. It all started off normal:
"Hey honey, we are going to that Christmas dinner with the Daniels (Adams family) and the Barton's (Nicks family) at the hallways house" mum says and I nod
"Yay, that's awesome!" I say and Ty rolls his eyes. "Thanks mum but I'll pass"
"Um Ty I wasn't asking" she says and he rolls his eyes
"Mom, he doesn't want to go. Don't make him" I say and she looks like she's getting mad. "This dinner means a lot to me and I would like if you came Tyler" she demands
"I'm not going" he says and I get pissed. "Ty, your coming, get over it and get dressed"
"And what gives you the right to tell me what to do huh? Did you forget that your not talking to me?" He shouts
"I'm not talking to you because you hit me! The only reason I am even acknowledging your existence is because our mum is asking us to do something that means a lot to her and you are refusing to do this. Your supposed to be the man of this family, so hike up your skirt and man up" I say and he looks enraged
"Alright, that's enough you two" mum says and I walk away to get dressed.

We just arrived at the Halloway house and Ty is still pissed. "Hey ladies, Ty" Tori says and I smile and hug her. "Merry Christmas " I say while giving her my present.
"The guys are already here, I set up something upstairs just for us teens, Ty your welcome to come if you want" Tori says and he nods. We go upstairs and I see that they have drinks and games set out.
"Let the games begin!" Nick shouts clearly a little tipsy
We played poker, truth or dare, the bean boozled challenge and drank a little. It is really fun so far. Ty pulled me outside of the room to talk
"What do you want from me Ty?" I spit
"I want you to forgive me"
"There's nothing to forgive Ty, you hit me. I'm done with this conversation" I say while walking away big he grabs my arm
"Oh if you think that hitting you is bad then you better watch your back" he says and I am pissed
"What has Hadley done to you. It's like your this completely different person and it's not a good change" I say and he looks mad
"Stop bringing her into this" he shouts while grabbing my wrists
"Ty, your hurting me... Let go, your hurting me!" I shout and he lets go and I lose my balance and go tumbling down the stairs.
Toby's POV
BOOM
"What the hell was that?" Adam says while opening the door to reveal Ty looking down at something.
"What are you looking at?" Nick says while walking over to Ty but he stops in his tracks. "Oh my god" he says and I go charging over there but I am being held back by Adam
"Let me go, what's going on?" I shout and I see Tori go running down the stairs. "MOM CALL 911!" She shouts. And about six minutes later, an ambulance comes and I finally see what everyone is shielding me from. The paramedics are carrying Avery out on a gurney and there is a lot of blood.
I fight Nick and Adams hold and go running down the stairs. I climb into the ambulance with Avery's mom and she is holding her hand. I put my hand on her other hand and say "it's going to be okay" and she nods

We arrived at the hospital a half hour ago and nobody is telling us anything. I am pacing back and fourth until Tori stops me "stop pacing, your making me dizzy"
"Oh I'm sorry that I am worried about my girlfriend aka your best friend" I say and before she can say anything the doctor comes over.
"Is she okay?" Nick asks and the doctor nods. "She had to get stitches in her head and she has a broken ankle but overall she is going to be okay" the doctor says and I smile
"Thank you so much" I say and he nods. Soon enough, Ty comes in to ruin the moment. I go charging after him
"YOU! YOU DID THIS" I shout but I am being held back by Nick and Adam. "I didn't mean for it to go that far" he says with a tone of sadness in his voice
"Tyler Theodore Hunter, you are a danger to your sister. I am shipping you back to London!" Avery's mom shouts
"No mum please I can change-"
"No Ty, I gave you way to many chances. But then you go an do something like this?! You can come back for your grandmothers funeral when the time comes. I already booked your flight. It's leaving tomorrow night" she says with pain in her voice and a tear falls down his face.
"When can we see her" Adam asks "well the good news is that she is conscious so you can see her now if you'd like but two at a time" the doctor says and we nod. Avery's mom goes first and when she comes out, me and Tori go in, we see Avery writing in a book and smiling
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Tori asks and she smiles. "Eh, my head and foot hurts like hell but that's my brothers fault. Merry Frekin Christmas to me right?" She says while chuckling. She looks at me and we are in the middle of an intense stare
"Well, I'm gonna leave you two to talk" Tori says while walking out of the room. I sit down on the chair next to Avery's bed and take her hand. "I'm sorry that this happened to you-" I say but she stops me
"You don't have to be sorry Toby. It's Ty's fault that this happened, but he's still my brother. Do I find it unbelievable that he would do that, absolutely. And I'm not saying it was right but I am saying that it's a normal Christmas. Every year, something bad happens to me. I have bad luck" she says while shrugging
"Your right. What he did was wrong and that's why your mom is sending him back to London" I say and she nods. I look down at what she's writing and she blushes
"What are you writing?" I say while taking the book and reading out loud:
The bad boy took my heart
My emotions used to be a storm
But he helped turn a rainy day into a sunny one
I used to think that he was all fake but there's actually a good side to him
He's kind... Caring and sweet and that's what I love about him.
I just admitted it... I am in love with the bad boy
When I am finished reading I must have a stupid grin on my face because she laughs. "What's so funny princess" I say to annoy her and she laughs harder
"Y-your face is pr-priceless" she says in between laughs which makes me laugh. Just seeing her smile makes me happy.
"I love you" she says and I smile
"Well, I love me too princess" I say to make her laugh. "I'm just kidding, as much as I love myself, I love you more" I say while giving her a kiss
I hear everyone come in clapping and whistling. "Finally!" Nick says and Adam gives a small smile and Tori is so red from smiling that she squeals
"Well, it looks like it turned out to be a good Christmas after all" Mom says and we all nod. Even though it started out bad, this has truly been a great Christmas
