"I think I still like Lucas" she managed to say before starting crying

What?She still likes him?I can't make my move on Lucas,not like this not while my friend still has feelings for him,I can't do that to her
"He..he.. He likes someone e-else..why doesn't he l-like me Maya?"she said between her sobs
"I don't know Riley.Hiss loss,you're perfect Riley,you're beautiful and you don't need him in your life,there are other guys,better for you"
It hurt me seeing her like this,she was my best friend and even if I liked Lucas,I meant everything I say.Yes,There is no better guy than Lucas,maybe for me,but for her the perfect guy is out there waiting.
"It hurts Maya"
"I know,i really do Riley,but it will be okay"
"How could you possibly know Maya?How?You don't like anyone"

I look at the clock and it's 2Am.

Suddenly I heard laughing and someone yelling outside my window.
I decided I should check if my window is locked,it's late and you never know what's gonna happen in the bad side of New York
I open my curtains and see a bunch of guys across the street.Ugh
Teenage boys.Drunks,I never liked these
Suddenly one of them sees me looking at their direction and starts walking towards me.
Oh my God,Oh my God.
I'm so scared,what if they break the window and get in?!What if they murder me?!
I couldn't move,I stood there frozen still,and I recognize two of these boys.
It was Caleb[(he was mentioned in the last chapter I think)] and....Lucas
I can't even ...
Lucas?Is that really him?He drinks?
I'm stunned,I never thought he would be the bad kind of guy,he seems so nice to be honest.
The window was locked after all,and Lucas and his gang finally start talking
"Hey hottie"One of them says
The window might be locked,but their so close I can hear them
I didn't say anything
"Hey,how about you open this window and let us in,we can keep you some company"Caleb said and I knew what 'company' meant
"I would rather not."I finally said
"Ohh come on Maya,don't be such a bitch"
His friends laughed at me
"I..I..fuck you Lucas"
I said and I closed the curtains hoping they would leave.
Of course they didn't
"what's the matter?shortie?!"Lucas spoke
I couldn't help but cry.
I didn't say anything once again.
After about 5 minutes I stopped hearing their laughs
I opened the curtains once again and they were gone
It's currently 2:45 am
I really have to sleep.
But then I heard someone hitting my window.
I walked towards my window and hesitantly opened the curtains and I was almost sure about who I would face.
