09 : Betrayal

Girls' Dormitory, Room

"Mahiru!" Aina shouted, standing outside of Mahiru's room with a japanese style school bag. She called Mahiru over and over again in the same time knocking the door.

"Mahiru!!"

Aina then heard faint voice from inside, "Who the hell on earth?!" Turning the door knob and pushed it. The edge of the door eventually hit Aina's face.

"Kahh!" Aina shouted with both of her hands covering her face.

"Aina?! What the hell are you doing here at this hour?!" Mahiru asked Aina, not noticing Aina who was staring at Mahiru's lower body.

"Eh... what a sight."

Mahiru looked down and found herself not wearing a skirt instead exposing her pink in color panties with a ribbon in the middle. Aina immediately covered her face again as she knew that she had saw an image that she wasn't supposed to see.

"I-I just came here to-"

"Aaahhh!!" Mahiru stepped inside and slammed the door. Aina just stood there dumbfounded for a minute, then she realized that she's not in Mahiru's room yet. She knocked the door again, but another person opened the door.

"You! Can I enter your room for a minute? I need to talk to Mahiru. It's something very important. Very, very important." Aina said.

"*sighed* What are you doing here so early? Can't you just discuss about it later?" The girl replied.

"It's about life and death!" Aina barged into the room to find Mahiru. Yet again, Aina saw Mahiru undressing her pajamas to dress up in the uniform.

"I...uh... It's an accident... right, Mahiru...? Ehehe... I'm sorry."

"GET OUT!"

Again, Aina stood outside Mahiru's room after being driven out. She knocked the door again with a sigh, planning to enter the room again. Her knocking got slower when the door suddenly opened from the inside.

"Oh!"

"You can come in now." Mahiru muttered with her face all red.

Both sat on the bed as there were only a bathroom, table and a double-decker bed. Aina looked around as Mahiru suddenly broke the silence when her roommate went into the bathroom.

"So, what's about life and death?" She asked.

"Look, this friend of mine is going to be executed tonight. So I need your help-"

"You want me to turn against the headquarters? You know that's impossible, right? Hell no I'm going do that."

"But we can't just let her die like that! She has a life ahead of her but she's going on to heaven tonight without even saying goodbye to her sister! Don't you think it's not fair?"

"So we're talking about Izanami here." Mahiru leaned to the side of the bed's pillar. "I don't want to save someone like her." She continued.

"What are you saying? You aren't like this last time. Didn't you agree with me about saving people's life? What about this time? You're letting Nanami die?!"

"Saving her or not is none of my business!" Mahiru shouted right back at Aina.

"Fine. I'll save her myself." Aina replied with a despairing voice as she got up from the bed, headed towards the door. Before she left, she apologized about what happened earlier. "I'm sorry for seeing you naked. Bye."
