So.... I'm bored. Whatevs. Here's another update. Hope it's gd.

"Dad!" I shouted. I took a flying leap and flung myself into his arms. He chuckled,"Hello to you too, songbird." I beamed from ear to ear, for a moment, all thoughts of Alice and Bryce disappearing from my thoughts."How... How... How are you here?!" I shrieked incredulously. He laughed,"I was lucky. Apparently my secretary got the dates wrong." I asked,"How's Mum?" The contents of that letter filled my hea to the brim once again.
I love you.
I blinked away my tears and was surprised to see that Dad was too.
"Oh!" I exclaims an scurried upstairs to my room. I rummaged through my bedside table drawer and grabbed the letter. I rushed downstairs and shied it into my father's hands.
"Read it," I urged. He unfolded it with uncertainty.
After reading it over and over, Dad's face was a mask of ashen, pale-faced white. He grabbed my hand.
"We have to go back. We have to tell them what's wrong with Coral. We have to catch that guy," his voice was filled with passion and worry for my mother. I shook my head frantically,"No! Can I finish prom first. Then we can go. Ok?" I begged with all my heart, hoping he would say yes. Dad sighed,"Fine. But we'll leave first thing on Saturday morning." I cheered mentally and ran upstairs. I set out my dress for tomorrow and stared into the wall as a realization of the happening crashed into my head.
Tears leaked from my eyes like malfunctioning water spouts. How could Alice.... How could she? She was my friend. If only she'd told me. Why does my heart always get broken. Why?
Why?
Why?
WHY?
Questions whirled around in my head like a tornado of words. I held my face in my hands and sobbed silently. Bryce broke my heart like it was a piece of glass and trashed it away. At least I still had Kelly. She was the only person I still had. I'm just glad Olivia was in the toilet when I found out about Bryce and Kelly's little secret. Bryce and I should never have dated. We didn't belong together. I see the way they look at each other. They are meant to be together. It was the truth. I flicked a tear off my face and crashed on the bed.
----------Time Lapse---------
The next day. Morning.I groaned as my alarm set off its shrill shriek to wake me up. I can't go to prom tonight. I just can't face them.
I buried my face in my pillows just as my phone rang.
Chill out, what you yelling for.
Lay back, it's all been done before. And if, you could only, let it be, you would see.
I like you the way you are.
When we're driving in your car.
And your talking to me, one on one, but you become...I picked up the phone.
Bryce.
I gulped as tears welled up in my eyes. My finger hovered over the green button.
Somebody else. Round everyone else. You're watching your back. Like you can't relax. You're trying to be cool. You look like a fool to me. Tell me...
I bit my, gasping sobs escaping from my lips.
Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated, I see the way you're acting like your somebody else gets me frustrated. Life's like this, you,
And you fall, and you crawl and you break and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty and promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it,No, no, no.
I pressed the hang up button and blocked his number.
The rest of the day passed in silence as Dad went to work while I lazed at home.
Around 6pm, I drove to LeLaLindleFawkes, tear stained and heartbroken.
I asked Mdm Tuppence,"Hi! I'm going to pay for my dresses and everything today, and pick up my dress for tomorrow."
"Of course, deary," Mdm Tuppence replied. She passed me a bag,"That would be $3,560 in total." I handed her my credit card and paid for the items.
"Goodbye!" I called to her as I walked out of the store.
I reached home and took out the dress. (Descriptions are for the next chapter;) I gasped and gaped at the beautiful dress before me.
I hung it on the wardrobe and fell into my world of dreams.
