Mickeys POV

I giggled as Rhett explained how they'd found me. I left so many clues to were I was.

" But the real question is why, Mickey. Why did you run away? " Link said and wiped the tears running down his cheeks.

I sighed. I didn't want to talk about it. Although I knew it was something I had to do.

" The monster made me. " I mumbled.
" What happened? "

" It's a long story. "

" We've got time. We're not going anywhere. "

I sighed.

" When you were under the spell and carried me out to the back of the house Rupert came back. But he wasn't alone, he and Erker had morphed into some sort of monster. It was hideous. " I said and started to tear up.

" Thank god you don't think we did what we did by our own will. " Rhett said as tear ran down his cheeks.

" Of course not. Then he made you guys pass out, and threatened me with killing you and your families if I didn't run away. And I couldn't defend myself, I was too scared. "

" Wait a minute, you were scared for us? " Link mumbled.

" Of course I was, you're the only family I connect with. "

I explained how I'd ran away and how Sophie saved me. They then asked what I meant by them being the only family I connect with.

" My dad is scared of me since I'm werewolf, my brother moved because of his fright. "

" Why are they so scared? " Link asked.

" Some people just can't come over the fact the monsters exists. My whole family a is like that. There's nothing I can do about it. "

Link held my left hand, Rhett held my right hand.

" We're happy to be your family. " Rhett smiled.

" Happy to help. " Link filled in.

I hugged them both.
