Why would I?

Link POV

I looked Mickey in the eyes, I could see everything I thought was wrong with her. All of it. Everything from the ridiculous secret of being a freaking werewolf, to she trying to save us. It was probably all just a lie, a lie so she could kill us all and eat us for dinner. Not a chance in the world she wanted anything good, all she wanted was to kill. I wanted to punch her, I wanted to break her into tiny little pieces. But something stopped. Some part of me stopped me, something told me I was wrong. Something inside my mind collided with my rage and hate of Mickey. I turned around and looked at Rhett, he didn't care to look back. He just kept staring at Mickey and telling her everything he hated about her. He told her everything I'd just thought of. His voice got louder as he spoke. After a while he looked at me and told me to get up and pick up the stretcher. Since I was just as mad as he was I stood up and picked up the foot end of the stretcher. We started carrying it out of the room and once we entered the living room the kids just stared at us. Lily and Locke looked at each other and then ran towards us. They grabbed on to our legs.

" Stay out of this you brats! " Rhett shouted. 

Locke looked up at his father. He had probably never heard his father call him something like that, so he instantly let go and stood right back up. I could see tears forming in his eyes. For a second, I almost felt sad for him, but I later realized he didn't understood what was happening. None of the kids would understand that this girl was dangerous. That she had just pretended to be their friend to understand how she'd catch them. She'd only been studying her pray. I saw Cristy come up from the basement, my dad came up behind her. 

" Boys, put Mickey in the car. " He said. 

" Why? We're taking care of her personally. " Rhett replied. 

" Just do it Rhett! Now! " 

Rhett made a growling noise. 

" No! I won't. Didn't you hear me?! I'm taking care of this myself! " He shouted in dads face. 

Dad backed away and so did Cristy. Rhett had froth in the corners of his mouth. He was insanely angry, I don't think anyone has ever seen him this angry. 

" EVERYBODY CALMS THE HECK DOWN AND LETS ME AND LINK TAKE CARE OF THIS! " He shouted.
