Mickeys POV
I lost count of how long I'd been laying in the snow. I closed my eyes. My breathing was heavy and irregular. I knew I was floating in between life and death. But what I didn't know was that I'd ran so far away from Rhett and Link that I ended up outside a small village. My eyes had been closed for ever now, and it was a miracle that I was still alive.
I kept just laying there thinking.
" How can I still be alive? I should be dead by now. "
I kept repeating it inside my head.
As I laid there I felt something grabbing my wrists and pulling me away. Who was this? Where was I?
I opened my eyes, this time I heard the sound of burning wood. The scent of it spread throughout the room. I had a bandage around my head and my hair was clean. I looked around and saw a young lady sitting at an aga stove further away. She turned around and noticed that I was awake.
" Hello. I see you've woken up. " She said and turned back to the stove.
I stood up and walked over to her. I sat down on the floor in front of her.
" Fire is beautiful isn't it? " She said and turned around a piece of wood with a metal stick. I nodded my head and she looked up at me.
" What where you doing out there yesterday? " She asked.
I decided to not tell her the truth since I didn't want to make a big deal out of it.
" I was lost. " I mumbled.
" Well, you're lucky to be alive. "
" I know, I was basically freezing to death. "
" I'm Sophie, what's your name? "
" Miranda. "
