The letter

Mickeys POV

I asked Sophie and Jessica where I could post a letter. I had to tell Rhett and Link I was okay, and tell them that I'd never come back. Jessica drove me to the local post office.

" I'll wait in the car. Take your time. Here's money for a stamp and an envelope. "

I walked in and looked around for a while. There wasn't a lot of people around. I went up to the counter, bought my stamp and envelope, and sat down at a desk further away. I decided to be totally honest in the letter and tell them everything.

The letter

Dear Rhett, Link, Cristy, Jessie, Lily, Locke, Lincoln, Shepard, Lando, Mr. Links dad, Mr. And Mrs. McLaughlin.

I know it's been a lot. I know I'm gone. But trust me, I'm okay. Don't worry about me.

I didn't leave because I don't want to be with you, I didn't leave because of what happened. I left because I had to.

I can't tell you why I left. But I left for your safety. I know I'm just a girl in your eyes, but I'm a girl who put you all in danger. I'm a girl who don't know the difference between family and friends.

You all mean so much for me, and if I wouldn't have left it wouldn't have ended good, for anyone. Please don't let this take over your lives, don't let it get to you.

I'll always love you all. And I'll always be with you, just think of me and I'll be there.

Dear Rhett and Link.

I don't blame you for what you said. I knew you didn't mean it. And even if you did, it's okay.

Don't feel bad about what you've done, you were under the spell of Rupert's evil and disaster. Secondly, what I've done is infinitely worse. What I did can't be fixed.

I never deserved your help that morning. I'm grateful you offered to help me, but I shouldn't have accepted it. I should have told you I couldn't. No matter what silly lie I would have had to make up.

I love you with all my heart, head and body. And I'll always remember you. And if we never meet again, remember me the way I was before I dragged you into my own shadows.
