Although Rhett and Link were safe from being infected, they were far from having a safe career. Their subscriber count dropped for every second, to the point where the channel reached extinction. Over the course of 18 days they'd went from over 25 000 000 subscribers to none.
After going through the system over and over again, Link found something, something that maybe could explain what had happened. After going through numerous filing codes Link found a number he'd never seen in that system before. A number that didn't belong there, a number he clearly recognised. A224.
Link quickly realised they'd been infected and shut down the system.
" RHETT?! " He shouted.
Rhett came running in and at this point Link was hiding his face in his hands, sobbing.
" Link? What the heck is going on? "
" It's done Rhett, we're screwed. "
" Do you mean we've been..? "
" Yes. "
