Rhett walked into the office and looked around, the others left him as he stepped inside, well everyone except Mickey. She leaned at the other side of the room, crossing her arms and looking at Rhett. She sighed and rested her forehead in her hand, she slowly shook her head and looked like she could burst out crying at any moment. Rhett shyly looked around and sat down on the paper bed behind him. Mickey looked up at him for a second, her thick, dark hair once again covered her left eye, she didn't care and kept looking at Rhett. The stare she gave him almost made him feel uncomfortable, but before the feeling in the room got too awkward a nurse stepped into the room. She looked at Mickey, who nodded back and sat down in a chair right next to the wall she was leaning on. The nurse then walked up to Rhett and asked him to lay down. Rhett did and then the nurse him to take his shirt off, he did and she took out a stethoscope. She moved it around on his chest and asked him to take deep, stable breaths. Rhett did and she then took his blood pressure.
" You seem fine, I think all you need is a good night's sleep and some water. You'll be fine. " The nurse smiled and took her rubber gloves off.
" Can you tell me where Link is?! " Rhett asked.
The nurse looked at him.
" I can, but I don't think you wanna see him. You're his best friend, right? "
" Yes, yes I am. And I don't care how he looks like right now. I want to see him! "
Mickey sighed behind him.
" Linda, I'll take care of Rhett, you go back to work, I'll fix it. "
Linda nodded and walked out of the room again, Rhett and Mickey stood up from their seats and walked out the other way. They just walked across the hallway into another room, and in a bed right in the middle of the room, was Link, hooked up to all sorts of stuff. He was wearing a mask, and had tubes going into the sides of his torso. His eyes were closed and he laid completely still. Rhett looked at him for a second before bursting out of the room. He ran down the hallway and tried to find the closest bathroom. Mickey ran after him. Rhett did a few quick turns before throwing a bathroom door open and sticking his head in the toilet bowl. He felt so sick. Tears ran down his cheeks, he felt Mickey kneeling next to him and rubbing his back in a circle. She kept rubbing as Rhett started feeling even sicker. The sickness just got worse to the point where he knew he'd throw up, and he did. Loud retches came from his throat and into the toilet bowl. Mickey kept rubbing his back and when he was done she offered him a napkin to wipe his mouth and a glass of water. Rhett kept sobbing and screaming. Mickey pulled him closer and pressed the long mans head against her. She wiped his tears with her tiny, soft hands and kept holding on to him. Rhett didn't care how he looked and just kept crying out loud on Mickey's shoulder. She ran her fingers through his hair as he cried and cried.
" I told you that you didn't want to see him..."
