A/N: Okay, so I highly doubt the possibility of too many people reading this, but I'm just gonna give it a shot and work my way from there. If you don't mind, I hope you can leave comments about some suggestions usually when I haven't updated for 1-2 weeks. Thanks :3

Y/N's P.O.V
I sighed as I brought my hood over my head, hiding my h/c hair that had f/c tips and my piercings that adorned my s/c ears. My bangs hid one of my e/c eyes while the other seemed to glare at everyone passing by. Stuffing my hands into my pockets, I hunched over slightly and walked swiftly through the slightly crowded sidewalk as the first few drops of rain came crashing down. Worming my way, I managed to slip into an alley that had some coverage from the roofs of the taller buildings. I sighed as I leaned against the building, watching out for any suspicious figures coming down my way. I gripped the pocket knife I had in my hoodie tightly, glancing down each end of the alley carefully, scanning every single object repeatedly.
About half an hour later, the rain let up so I moved out, quickening my pace towards home in hopes of missing the next downpour. The sidewalk towards my apartment didn't have too many people walking on it, maybe just the occasional young business suit-wearing man that was rushing off to work. Maybe a mother and her child coming home from a walk in the park. Who knows? I sighed and looked up at the gray sky, thinking how I would explain to my drunken parents why I was home 'late'. Before I knew it, I was standing at the main entrance of the tall building, my heart race increasing slightly. Even though I would rather not have to face my parents, I walked quickly up the stairs. It's better than making it worse for myself by running.
I opened the door quietly to the familiar stench of rotting food and mouse crap, the distinct waft of whisky and rum grazing my nose lightly. I almost gagged, nearly forgetting how horrible the air smelled, even after I febrezed the hell out of the place. Cleaning proved useless within the first couple of days upon arrival here, because things would just end up thrown about anyway. Luckily for me, my parents were passed out on the living room floor, so I was spared of their wrath for a while longer. I opened the door to my own separate room and closed the door quickly, yet quietly behind me. I dropped my school bag on the ground and pulled out my homework. Damn, even as a Freshman there's so much to do.
(Time skip brought to you by the rebellious nature of the procrastinators~ :3)
I sighed as I sat up, stretching my arms upwards and bending my back slightly, causing it to pop repeatedly. I began to put away my semi-finished homework when I heard the familiar groaning and shuffling of my parents as they peeled themselves off the floor. I quickly stood up and walked into the living room, standing up straight and my hands intertwined with each other behind my back. My father was the first to notice me, his blood-shot eyes scanning my figure as he used the couch for support. He walked up to me and brought his face so close to mine, I could almost get drunk from his breath. He growled at me and raised his hand, bringing a closed fist down harshly onto my covered eye (thankfully) and I inhaled sharply, not even daring to let out a single cry.
He continued to beat me and scream at me until my legs shook from the amount of pain and fear coursing through me. He raised his fist to bring it down on me again until his whole body trembled and he passed out, face planting onto the carpet. I quickly ran back to my room before collapsing to my knees, silent tears streaming down my face, causing my swollen eye behind my hair to ache. I stood up, a new resolute filling me like the bag I was filling. I was done, and I wanted the world to see it. Packing some of my favorite clothes, some food, water bottles, and cash, I walked out the front door and closed it behind me, running my thumb across my knife that was still concealed in my pocket.
Lucas' P.O.V
Mason and I sighed as we looked out the window of our limo, the rain streaming down it as it beat down on the outside world steadily. He suddenly began speaking to me.
"Do you think anything interesting will happen today, Lucas?" he looked at me with a bored expression.
"Hmm... well, looking at the time and weather, I seriously doubt anything will happen, Mason." I turned my attention back to the window, where the scene outside clearly rejected that statement. As I looked out, the most beautiful -no- the most gorgeous human being I had ever laid eyes upon walked past the car, her h/l h/c hair catching my attention. As well as the huge, red hand print on her cheek. My eyes furrowed as she walked into and alley way, trying to seek shelter from the storm. I looked at my brother, who was obviously thinking the same thing as I. Nodding to each other, we pulled our hoods over our heads and exited the limo.

"You've got to be shitting me...." I groaned unhappily, the rain pelting me heavily as I ran through the streets, ducking into a nearby alley way. Once under the protection of the roofing, I shook my head violently in an attempt to rid of most of the water beads that had stuck to it. I fixed it soon after, covering my bruised eye with my hair before any passerby's could question, not that they would care about 'someone like me'. "Damn you stubbornness... It's not always a good thing to go breaking stereotypes..." I mumbled to myself, almost missing the two figures headed my way. Clenching my pocket knife tightly, I allowed them to approach me in hopes they were just passing by. Pulling my hood over my head, I leaned against the wall and put one foot against it and looked at the ground. Suddenly, one of the figures spoke to me.
"Hello." I looked up at the voice, slightly startled, yet still on guard.
"Yes?" I raised any eyebrow as I looked at them. They looked like they were of a higher income family, and identical twins for that matter. They both smiled at me.
"Um, my name is Lucas and this is Mason. But my brother and I were sitting in the car waiting for our parents when we happened to see you pass by and we wanted to know if you had some where to stay. If you don't, we were wondering if you'd like to stay with us." The one named Lucas spoke politely. His soft hazel eyes looked at me shyly, his semi-long, brown hair sticking out of his blue hood slightly. I bit my lip as he looked at me with his adorable little eyes, but shook my head.
"No, I'm quite alright, but thanks anyway." I smiled gratefully. 'Lucas' furrowed his brow slightly, but his brother spoke up in his place.
"Are you sure? You look like you're lacking a house right now." Mason's green eyes looked at me from head to toe. He pulled his red hood back, exposing his short, black hair that stuck up in a few places, giving the illusion of cat ears. I swallowed and looked down. He did technically have a point, I couldn't go back even if I wanted to. I nodded hesitantly as they smiled pleasantly, letting out a sigh of happiness.
"Then there should be no problem in coming with us, correct?" Lucas smiled at me as I nodded. Then, as if on cue, each brother took hold of either arm and pulled me to their limo. Wait, limo?! I gulped as they had me climb into the back seat with them. I looked at the two of them worriedly.
"Are you sure your parents will be okay with this?" I looked at them nervously, to which they both nodded enthusiastically. "Of course! They know we've always wanted a sister, and now we do!" They said in sync. I bit my lip, half of me wanting to relax and believe them, the other half of me still trying to figure out the uncomfortable twisting in my stomach. Eventually, I sighed and leaned back, deciding to close my eyes and try to at least relax. I eventually fell asleep as one brother wrapped his arm around my waist and the other wrapping his arm around my shoulder. No longer able to register the world around me, I missed the last sentence they said before I passed out.
"Goodnight, our sweet, sweet sister. You'll be needing all the sleep you can get from now on."
