We Meet Again

Y/N's P.O.V

"Y/N?" Josh placed a hand on my shoulder after I hung up, watching me worriedly. "Is everything alright?" I turned to him slowly, my heart about ready to hop out of my chest at any second. I wrapped my arms around his neck and began sobbing into his chest.

"They escaped, Josh!" I cried out and my entire body shook terribly. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and rubbed my back reassuringly. "It'll be okay, Y/N. It'll be okay." He whispered into my ear and kissed my cheek, his arms never loosening in the process. My sobs slowed to a slight whimper and I sniffled. He pulled away a bit and looked me in the eye.

"How about we stay together then? That way, we can protect each other, yeah?" He smiled warmly and I nodded, my eyes still a little blurry. He gently brought me into a tender kiss, nibbling softly on my lower lip. I let out a small mewl and he pulled away and hugged me. "And when I say together, I mean constant cuddles. Well, with a few exceptions, of course." I buried my head into his chest and he wrapped his arms around me protectively.

"Hey, you know I love you right, Y/N?" He rocked us back and forth and I smiled a bit. "Yeah... Love you too..." We sat there for a little while, rocking and enjoying each others warmth.

(Time skip over a few uneventful hours)

My eyes had just begun to grow heavy as I sat in Josh's arms, soaking in every ounce of warmth I could. My mind had begun to sink into a black haze when the front door was smashed inward. We both hopped up from our position on the couch as Josh took his stance in front of me. From around the corner, two very familiar figures emerged.

"I see we meet again, Y/N." Mason was the first to speak. He had grown taller, and he seemed to be very well built, but he wasn't disgustingly muscle-y either. Lucas morphed into view from behind his brother. He seemed to be the leaner one of the two, like he built his body to be the speedier type. I gripped onto Josh as they slowly made their way to the two of us, grinning like the mad men they were.

(NOTICE!! FROM HERE ON OUT, I WILL BE INSERTING CHOICES!! KEEP AN EYE ON THE CHOICES YOU MAKE BECAUSE THEY WILL DETERMINE YOUR ENDING!! I'll leave the exact order of choices you should have made in order to get that ending, even though you'll probably end up reading them all anyway... I mean, who doesn't? :3)

A/N: Yes, I know. This chapter is WAAAY shorter than the others, but I thought I would at least post something. I'll be working on the choices for a while as well as a request for one of my other books, so please do be patient ;--; I'm trying to post, but I caught some Writer's Block... It seems to be going around my area...
