A/N: *happiness squeals* this song is literally my life saver right now. Well, book saver. Anyway, it made me want to put a distressing situation. :D I hope you enjoy both the song and chapter. I do not own this song (Mason: Psh, obviously. Me: Shut up! ( ̄◇ ̄;) Go back to your spot!) and, as always, enjoy (^ω^).
_______________

Y/N's P.O.V

I ran through the halls of the mansion, tears streaming from my eyes, my legs begging me to stop, my lungs felt as if they were on fire. I had finally witnessed it. I watched them kill (B/F/N), both brothers laughing maniacally as they slowly tore him/her apart. The scissors they used covered liberally in his/her lukewarm blood, his/her agonized sobs haunting my mind. I ran and ran, refusing to look back in fear of being caught.

Using the rail, I quickly redirected my route down the stairs, skipping as many stairs as my legs would allow. I landed at the bottom hard, almost twisting my ankle. I cried out in pain, but forced myself to keep moving. I was almost to the front door of the home, practically 10 feet away from it. That was until a hand grabbed my arm, yanking me back to meet the person's chest.

"Tsk tsk... Trying to run away, sister?" Mason's cold voice met my ears and I let out a choked sob. Lucas appeared shortly after I was caught, blocking my only escape route and trapping me in between them.

"Oh look, brother. Our little Y/N is crying.... And yet, she's still so adorable." Lucas' cheerful voice didn't match his words nor the situation. My heart thudded painfully against my rib cage, my sobs sound more and more painful by the second.

"Ne ne, Lucas. Since Y/N was trying to escape, perhaps we should punish her?" Mason spoke lowly to his brother, his grip on my wrist becoming painfully tight. "Oh... That's a good idea, Mason... Perhaps we will." They looked down at me, their eyes filled with a deadly desire. I whimpered, my voice stuck to my throat as I tried to beg for mercy. They chuckled darkly, both gripping their own knife tightly. Raising it to my neck, they brought their lips to my ear before whispering "Goodnight" and slitting my throat.

I woke up screaming, tears rolling down my cheeks as I shot up. Lucas and Mason burst into my room, looks of fear and concern playing heavily on their face. I began panting, whimpering quietly every so often. They sat on either side of me, rubbing my back soothingly. I flinched and tensed at their touch, the nightmare still fresh in my mind.

"Y/N...?" Lucas called my name gently, brushing away strands of hair that were stuck to my cheek. I looked at him, turning my head slowly. His eyes held a worried look, not the insane one that I saw in my dream. His hazel eyes bore into my e/c ones as I calmed down.

" there's no way that they could be like that... They're far too kind." I thought to myself in an attempt to calm my racing heart, but my mind knew otherwise. I've seen that dark look before, even if it was for a split second. I looked down at the silk sheets, the tears had stopped falling by now, but the uncertainty remained.

As I was lost in my thought battle, the brothers hugged me in a comforting manner, resting their chin on my shoulders. "It's okay now, Y/N... It was only a nightmare..." Mason whispered in my ear, his tone soft and consoling. "A nightmare...." I closed my eyes and began falling asleep again.

"Was it really only a nightmare?"
