Violetta waited in Miami, Florida. She was in the worst parts of it, hunting. I might as well do something fun while she waits for Elizabeth, she thought. Mmmm theres a juicy one over there. She stalks toward her prey, who was getting ready to break into someone’s house. She was right behind him. Her hand is placed lightly on his shoulder.

“Hello.” Her voice sounds hungry.

He turns around and tries to stab her with the knife in his hand. Laughing, she shows him the spot where he pierced her. He saw the hole pull at the edges and close up. With a frightful glance, he tries to sprint away. She laughs again and goes after him.

Dead end. She smiles at him viciously and lunges toward him. Her fangs sink in his neck and goes slack. I love this part, she thought. The blood flows into her mouth and she tastes the coppery goodness. Her body lights up with ecstasy and she gives an involuntary moan.

After a few minutes she angrily shakes the drained body. She throws it against a wall and walks back to her hotel, completely satisfied.

Where could she be? She flopped on her bed and thought about the events that were to take place. She couldn’t stand the thoughts that overflowed her brain, until a very important one came in.

It’s about to come. The biggest fight against good and evil, life and death. Turn Josh into a vampire, now! You need fighters to aid you. You must win.

She nodded her head and dialed Josh’s number.

“Hello?” His voice answered.

“Hello Josh. It’s Violetta.”

“Oh! Violetta, my darling, what is it you need?”

“I need you to come to me now.”

“I will be there in a few minutes.”

“Good.” She shut the phone without a farewell.

He arrived in a few minutes, just like he said. She wiggled a finger at him to come and join her. Eagerly, he sat next to her. She put a hand on his neck and inspected it.

It seems good enough to sink my teeth into, she thought.

She smiled until her fangs had grown. He trembled slightly and smiled a loving smile back. She kisses his neck until he no longer feels scared, then she sinks her canines in. He gasps. This was different to him. This was painful to him. It wasn’t like the other times she had bitten him. This was different. There was no lust in this. Just hunger.

She only drank a little, to keep him dazed but not completely drained. Then she takes a knife and cuts open a wound in her wrist. She holds it up to his lips and he drinks it without wanting to. It flows into him easily. After he has taken the same amount that she has, she stabs him in the heart. He looks at her with a look like, “Why?” and she returns a gaze that is ruthless and heartless. His eyes roll into the back of his head.

In a few days, he’ll wake up, she thought. At least, I hope he does.

I move my arm stiffly. Where am I? What’s going on?

I open my eyes to find that I’m in the back of a van. No windows and no doors. How am I supposed to escape?

“Hello? Where am I? Haley? What’s going on?” I ask in a panicked voice.

“Stop panicking Elizabeth. You always did do that,” The voice said from outside the van.

I noticed that there was a square window where the voice was coming from.
