“Why did you bring her here?” Julia screamed.

“Because she’s my sister!” I yelled back.

Where did that come from? I knew she wasn’t my sister, but deep in my soul something told me she was. Maybe it was like we were like sisters.

We were in my living room. I was protecting Haley from Julia, even though she would probably be able to destroy Julia.

“She’s bound to Violetta! She’s dirty! Impure!” She kept screaming.

“We need her! Ainsley and Adelle will be able to take the spell off of her.”

Julia shifted to her half form of a jaguar. She always changed into something from the wild cats family.

“They almost died because of your, very powerful, spell! We can’t risk losing two powerful witches either!”

“We aren’t going to risk it! Because I’m-”

“Damn it! I wish you never came to California! I hate you!” She cut me off, and pushed me.

I gasped and stumbled backward. Haley caught me before I fell. This was very similar to my fight with my sister one day.

“Ugh! Give it to me!” My sister, Loretta, yelled.

“No,” I said.

“Yes, or else I’ll tell them,” She taunted.

“No, you won’t.”

You don’t think I would tell them?” She asked.

We were in my room. She was standing in my doorway, while I was comfortably on my bed reading a magazine.

“You’re incapable of telling them anything! You can’t tattletale on me if your life depended on it. It’s just not possible,” I say.

“You really think I’m ‘incapable’ of telling?” She asked again.

“Yes,”

“Well, you’re wrong,” She said.

“Am I?” I asked and squinted my eyes at her.

“I will. I’ll tell them all about you sneaking off to meet with your boyfriend when you were grounded. I will, Elizabeth. I will,” She said.

I widened my eyes. She never used my full name unless she was dead serious.

“Don’t,” I said.

“Then give it to me,” She said and outstretched her hand.

I grabbed my iPod and clutched it to my chest.

“Come on. Hand it over, or else I’ll tell,” She taunted.

I got so mad, my face turned red. My face never turns red.

“God, sometimes I wish you never existed!” I screamed in her face and threw the iPod on the ground.

It shattered the screen.

She stumbled backwards and gasped. I could see tears start to form in her eyes. Oh no. No, no, no, no...

“I hate you!” Right when she said those words, there was a big earthquake happening in my heart. I never heard her say those words ever. It hurt so much to see those tears drip down from her cheek. To hear those words, directed to me.
