Updating early because I can ;) You guys are gonna be so mad at me.

Percy's POV

"Are they almost done?" Jason asked us while looking down at his watch.

"They're girls, what did you expect?" Leo, I think his name was, said with raised eyebrows. Leo seems like an alright guy. He's pretty funny and most people wouldn't like being a third wheel on a group date. Well, more like a seventh wheel, but that doesn't make it any better, in my opinion.

Frank is an alright guy, too, I guess. He seems to be treating Hazel good, which is all that really matters. He's a bit in the serious side, but once he lets loose, he can be very funny.

We were all close at one point when we were younger. We meaning Annabeth, Hazel, Piper, Jason, and I. But then we all went our separate ways, as seperate as little kids can get anyway, and we never really spoke again, for the most part. It looks like Piper and Hazel were the only ones who kept in touch. But I still feel very protective over them like I once was.

"Well, they should come on so we can get a move on. There's only so many hours in a day and we can't waste anymore or we'll be out until to tomorrow morning." Jason huffed.

"Oh, don't get your panties in a bunch!" Piper called from upstairs, "We're coming!"

"I don't wear panties!" Was Jason's genius response.

Before anyone could say anything else, Piper and Hazel came down the stairs of Piper's house.

They were both stunningly gorgeous, and their boyfriends definitely thought so because neither one could speak, or move, for that matter. They just kept moving their mouths up and down, but no sound came out. They looked like fish out of water.

Then Annabeth came down the stairs.

You remember when I said Hazel and Piper looked stunning? Well they have nothing on Annabeth. Her outfit fits all of her curves just right. Words couldn't describe how beautiful she is. When her eyes met mine, it was like they held them captive. I couldn't look away from her grey eyes.

Great, I thought, I'm turning into a cheeseball. But that's what Annabeth Chase does to me.

Eventually, Annabeth's eyes left mine to look at the ground. My guess is that she was trying to hide the blush that had formed onto her cheeks in plain view.

I finally built up my courage to walk up to her. Jeesh, I feel like a pimply freshman going up to the captain of the cheerleading squad and asking her out, knowing she's way out of my league.

When I reached her, I picked up her hands and then kissed the palms of them.

"You look beautiful." I whispered to her.

"Th-thank you." She stutters out it a very heavy blush coating her cheeks.

I feel myself gaining my confidence back, because that's what Annabeth does, she gives me confidence. I'm telling you, she makes me a huge  cheeseball.

I lean in and kiss her cheek before moving my lips to her ear and whispering "You're very welcome."

I see her face flush again. I don't recall her ever blushing this much when we were younger. She also had much more confidence back then. She seems to have lost all confidence thanks to that sorry excuse of a human who happens to be named Rob.

"Are we ready to go now?" Leo called from the other side of the room, watching us all mingle. I kind of feel bad about this, but the kid keeps insisting to come.

"Because I am absolutely starving." Leo continued.

Hazel rolled her eyes. "You're always hungry, Leo."

Leo shrugged. "True, but I'm a growing boy and growing boys need a lot of food."

"Can we go now?" Jason asks impatiently, "Before it gets to late."

Piper rolled her eyes at her boyfriend. Instead of answering, she picked up her purse and started walking towards the door. She opened the door halfway open, walked out it a bit, before turning around to look at Jason.

"Are you coming, dear?" Piper asked, feigning innocence, "Because the night is just wasting away." Piper said all that with a wink.

Jason mumbled something incoherent before following her. We all chuckled, and then followed them out.

We all piled into a dark blue van that belongs to Piper's family. Jason and Piper sat upfront. Annabeth and I sat in the middle row together. And Hazel, Frank, and Leo squished into the back seats together.

"Where're we going, anyway?" Annabeth asks.

"Do you really think we're gonna tell you that?" I asked her with a smirk.

"Ugh," Annabeth groaned, "I was hoping."

"Sorry to ruin your hopes," I tell her, "But it's a secret." I wink at her and Annabeth glares playfully at me, at least, I hoped it was playfully. I can never tell with Annabeth.

Out of nowhere, Piper squealed, she sure loved to squeal.

"I love this song!" Piper squealed. See? I told you.

Jason wrinkled his nose. "Which song is it?" He asked.

"It's First Date by Blink 182!" Annabeth practically screamed from beside me.

I raised my eyebrows at her. When she saw me looking, she blushed and looked down at her lap.

"What?" She asks, "I really like this song."

Before I could reply, Piper cranked the radio up and started singing, what I'm guessing is, the chorus. Soon after, Annabeth joined her.

"Let's go, don't wait, this night is almost over anyway. Honest, let's make this night last forever!"  They belted out. Hazel joined them soon after.

"Forever and ever, let's  make this last forever! Forever and ever, let's make this last forever!"  All three girls screamed.

After what seemed like forever, we finally pulled up to where our date was going to be.

All four of us boys tripped out of the van as fast as we could.

"Jeez!" I exclaim, "I'd rather go through Tartarus than endure that again."

Everyone stopped walking and stared at me.

"What?" I question, "I like Greek Mythology, okay?"

Annabeth took my hand and whispered "I do too."

"I hate to break the love fest over there," Leo called to us, "But we've arrived."

I grinned when I heard all the girls gasp by the scene in front of us.

Sorry this isn't the full chapter. I should have Part II out by Wednesday, but this week has been very busy and I'm still busy this weekend. So I'm going to split the chapter into two separate chapters. After I get those posted, I'll post both chapters again but in Annabeth's POV.

If none of you know this, Blink 182 was a rock band in the '90s. I don't really know them, I just looked up songs about first date songs into YouTube and that was the first song to come up so I used it. That's also the song in the slide.

What did you guys think of Part I? It wasn't very long but I appreciate all comments and please vote.

Thanks everyone! <3
